not sure what they have going on in the kitchen here. in My previous two visits my orders were incorrectly prepared. this time, when I sat down after ordering, I looked around and counted that there were nine number placards on the tables meaning nine groups waiting on their orders. in the end, it took me 20 minutes to get my food. while they apologized and proactively offered to refund my money, and this time the order was correct, it does seem that there are ongoing issues with getting orders out in a reasonable amount of time and having them be accurate. not to mention the RBF of the person who took My order
2/4/18 update: pretty amazing how this place continues to not provide service. This is not the first poor customer service experience I've had since I wrote my first review but finally pushed to add to it today. probably should take my hunger elsewhere but it's located so conveniently
They serve breakfast till 11. I walked up to the dead eyed counter guy (what IS IT with the counter people here?) at 1059 and place an order for a sausage biscuit combo. after 10+ minutes he comes out to tell me that the kitchen has said it was too late and they can't make my breakfast. I ask for the on duty manager. she starts by saying she'll have the order made (this has happened to me multiple times, where the kitchen has pushed back then the manager has said she will correct it, I guess it's on me to not push the already questionable service by getting there that close to the deadline). but then it's another 10 + minutes before I get my food. I think the on-duty management and some of the employees really try but they can't overcome the poor attitudes and performance of their co-workers
ok, fair is fair so updating. I've had breakfast here each of the last 2 mornings. I received completely correct orders even with putting in a special order each time. What was really great was this morning I think I got my order in about 5 or 6 minutes but yesterday I swear it was about 3 minutes, had barely sat down when they brought it out. Another positive about this place that is very consistent across all my visits is that the dining area is super clean. The tables are cleared off and always seem to be wiped down and the overall appearance of the restaurant is pretty immaculate. based on my long term history with this restaurants I am raising my original one star rating...
Read moreConsistently the worst Whataburger. I am not surprised to see from all of the other reviews that I'm not the only one who thinks so. You would think that with all of the terrible reviews that something would be done about it, but I guess management at this location doesn't care. I travel all around Central Texas for my work and have eaten at Whataburgers all over Central Texas. This is the only one that is consistently a terrible experience. The only thing that I have rarely had a hard time with at this location is the actual food. I've rarely had issues with my order being incorrect or something being wrong with the food, but the drive thru line is the absolute slowest. I can always count on waiting in line for somewhere between 15-25 minutes and there are only a few cars in line. My other big complaint is that they do not give you a receipt unless you specifically ask them to. I have to eat out several times a week with work and I need those receipts for tax purposes. They are THE ONLY place that I ever have to ask specifically for a receipt. I could go on about other issues I've had here, but hopefully this is enough and hopefully Whataburger does something to whip this location into shape. I WOULD just never eat here, but unfortunately, I often don't get a chance to eat dinner until after 10 PM at night and this is usually the only place open along my route home. I would also just eat at home, but I don't get home until after 11 PM and often have to wake up at 4 AM, so cooking a meal when I get home that late isn't a great option either. It'd be great if y'all could just get...
Read moreI pulled into the driver thru to order and was asked to pull into the second lane area. I did that. When the employee came out I paid 8.00 cash and my meal would require change. She did not say a word but took my money very rudely even after me speaking saying hello. I waited for a little while and she came out and handed me my food. I let her know that I never received my change. She preceded to walk off to the next car behind me. I sat there just waiting and hoping she was going back to get my change. The lady then comes out and angrily gives my change. I say thank you to her and she says nothing and walks off rudely again. I pull out of the drive thru and go in to speak to the manager. I let the manager know that the employee is extremely rude and I point her out. I told him I come there often and have never experienced such service here. The manager precedes to say “Maybe she is having a bad day and sorry.” I let the manager know that just because she is having a bad day doesn’t give the employee the right to treat customers poorly and that it is a reflection on the overall store. The manager said he would speak to her. I feel as if the manager was very poor in his response and feel that had roles been reversed that behavior would not have been tolerated. I’m very disappointed at the behavior of the manager and the employee. I had my son in the car and I want him to know that that is not how you treat people when you are having a bad day. I agree with the other reviews. Has to be the worst Whataburger I’ve been to. Chick-fil-A would never...
