I had a reservation for 16 on the patio on Dec 2. at 1:15pm for brunch to celebrate my 39th birthday and the food was good when it finally arrived however the service was terrible. I do not remember our waiter or waitress' name but the waitress had an attitude and the waiter seemed dazed and confused. I started by ordering table side mimosas, a Titos on the rocks, and an order of fried green tomatoes. Everyone else's drinks came out and a few appetizers but I had to inquire about my drinks several times about 15 minutes or so later they finally bring out the champagne. She brings the bottle out to a table of 18 with only 2 glasses and then gave me an attitude because I asked for more glasses and an additional juice. She comes back with more glasses and one was filthy with lip stick stains still on it but I didn't even mention it to her since she already had an attitude I just set it on the table behind us. I asked the waiter about my appetizer a couple of times since everyone else had gotten their appetizers a few people ordered second appetizers and then the main course begins to come out and here there come bringing my appetizer with my meal. A few people ordered the chicken and waffles and breakfast potatoes but the waiter and waitress didn't think to bring syrup as a minimum so people stared asking for syrup, salt and pepper, and ketchup for the hash browns and our waitress of course got an attitude. Everyone ate and my 84 year old grandmother had still not received her food that we had to ask about more than once. When it finally arrived she declined to take it since we were about to leave soon but the waitress was nice enough to box it up and give it to her anyway and she did sincerely apologize and gave my grandmother a free desert as well. Then when it was time for us to pay there was a lot of confusion with the checks and at least two people that I know of had to go inside to find the waiter or waitress to get their bill after having to ask for it several times. Service is key and For a place that advertises about hosting big parties you guys did a poor job. I'm not sure if I will eat here again but if I do it won't be for any group...
Read moreI had the best Restaurant experience as a newbie to whiskey cake. Unfortunately, I cannot remember my server and the managers name so it was either Brian or Gary. I may have them mixed up but blame that on the amazing drink that was recommended to me as I only had one and I could not wait to get back to my car to write this review so that tells you that it was great And effective 😂. The manager who I think maybe Brian was an absolute delight (and I apologize for not remembering his name)came to the table and let me know that he was happy to have us, made some recommendations to what to try on the menu since it was our first time being there and it really made me feel like a valued customer in the world of so many when I know that there’s a lot of people that walk Through their front doors and I know that he didn’t have to do that. My waiter was also amazing recommending food and making sure that when our glasses got low, they were refilled and just checking back in but not being too abrasive. It was simply amazing. The atmosphere is super dope. It’s definitely a vibe! The food was good. I had ribs and mac & cheese. My friend had a burger and fries, and she enjoyed it as well. I can’t rave about the menu as I only tried two things however, if you found that the menu was not to your liking, I promise that the drinks, the atmosphere, and the staff will definitely make any visit worthwhile, and if you leave enough room, the whiskey cake will make your body warm and it literally melts...
Read moreThis was our first time here despite living in this area for over a decade, so we decided why not! We weren't very hungry so we decided to get appetizers; spinach artichoke dip is always my go to; deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes! The bartender wasnt very engaging even after letting him know that this was our first time at the establishment. I was expecting some recommendations at the LEAST. The deviled eggs were delicious! My dip was salty. I like salt and tried to just go with it but I couldn't. That was just too salty, even for me! The crackers that came with it tasted good but were too hard. But normally I could eat the dip by itself. My husband said the sauce for the tomatoes tasted like tarter sauce. The bartender informed the manager who came off to me like he thought we were lying. I told him and the bartender that they could taste it so they know im not lying, but of course he said they couldn't do that. Tried to say it was maybe the bacon but no it wasn't, it was the sauce! You taste my drink when you make it, taste my dip, which had no strawberry flavor AT ALL by the way! He said he would check the batch in the kitchen. As far as the atmosphere goes, it's pretty loud, couldnt even hear the bartender when ordering but could hear the young guy making beats on the stand behind us! He stopped after we turned around and looked at him the third time! Oh and there was some dried food on my napkins when I opened it so I did get...
