Denny's — Restaurant in Thatcher

Had the worst experience I've ever had a Dennys. They were out of a lot of things which was fine. The waiter listed all the things theyvwere out of but the fries. So I was going to order a build your own burger and I asked if they had seasoned fries which he said no they were actually out of all the fries. Alright I ordered a burger without the raw onion add bacon and caramelized onion with onion rings instead of fries and a side of ranch. Hubby ordered a breakfast with wheat toast. Waiter brought food, no silverware took forever to get it (during which time I could see into the back and saw him eating) kids were starting to try and eat with their fingers cause no silverware. Hubby didn't have toast, I had raw onion not caramelized onion, no syrup for sons pancakes and no ranch had to eat the onion rings dry. Had to try and get waiters attention (he had 3 tables including us) to get toast which was now cold from sitting in the window, and syrup and a refill on now empty drinks (waiting for a refill I see him eating again). Did tell the manager some of what happened he did apologize but when we spent $36 on dinner would expect more from wait staff (such as no eating where customers can actually see you since he was going to be off work soon overheard him telling that to another table) probably won't be going to Dennys...

I usually order every few days. The last few times I've ordered (online order) they've completely messed up my order. I'm allergic to gravy and I make sure to call and explain I cannot have gravy on my mashed potatoes (I basically get the same thing everytime I order). Yesterday I ordered my usual, sirloin steak dinner, with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. But I did add 4 pieces of bacon and a side of fries. I get home to find out, there is gravy on my potatoes, no toast (that comes with the meal) like 5 pieces of broccoli, and no bacon. I called the store and they said the refund would have to wait till morning, to call and ask for the manager. I've been calling since this morning, and no answer. Y'all need to do better. This is the only dennys for another hour or so, the closet one is in Benson. If I'm going to spend $30 I'd expect all the food I ordered to be there. Guess not. Last time I had an issue with gravy being on the potatoes (like 3 weeks ago) the manager literally argued with me saying there was no gravy in my order. I brought it back and he still made it seem like I was crazy or maybe added it myself. If I'm allergic to it, why would I even have it in my house, let alone make it and put it on food I...

I’m an easy customer to please, I really am. I used to be a server at Denny’s in a different town, so I know how hard the job can be at times. I’m not sure if I went at a bad time (9:30pm), if I got a new server/cook, or what. While everyone was kind, I received terrible service. The server took several minutes to grab my drink order (water), and I went ahead and ordered my food. I asked for a bacon avocado burger with no bacon, but to please add bourbon sauce. What I received was a regular burger, complete with a long brown hair in my fries. The waitress did check on me (before I realized anything was wrong), but only once. I was out of water halfway through my meal. After 10 minutes of trying to get her attention, she smiled and waved, then looked away. She was VERY kind, as was everyone else. I’m not sure if I did something to offend her or the cook, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. In my hometown, Denny’s is one of the best places, despite having plenty of option. This was just not the case here. 1 star for kindness, 1 star for a decent burger... even though it wasn’t at all close to...
