Recently, I decided to order pizza from Papa John’s, hoping for a delicious meal. However, my experience left much to be desired. Despite spending over $60 on four pizzas, the service and quality fell short.
Upon arriving to pick up my order, I requested some Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper. To my surprise, I was told that the employees were not allowed to give out Parmesan cheese and that I would have to pay for it. While I didn’t mind paying, the employee simply walked away without offering to provide it, leaving me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
To make matters worse, when I got home and opened the boxes, I found that the pizzas were cold and dry, with a noticeable lack of mozzarella cheese. This lack of attention to detail and quality was disheartening, especially considering the higher prices Papa John’s charges compared to other franchises like Domino’s or Pizza Hut.

Once I placed the order they began to cook order and I got a DoorDash confirmation that it was arriving in 20 minutes I called the store and told them I didn’t want the order till 3 but they told me they could not change it because DoorDash had accepted the order. Then he told me he would have to cancel the order. I told him I didn’t want to cancel the order I just wanted it at 3 pm not 1:15. He said he would have to cancel the order and when I told him this was ridiculous and that’s why I don’t order from papa John’s he hung up the phone on me. It took them 40 minutes to prepare the order, before it showed it was out for delivery. After 20 another minutes I called (The Colony Store), spoke with Shawn, (GM), he said he only had one driver, traffic was bad in The Colony and there was nothing he would do to make it better!
