This place is a gem!! Chicken fried steak is absolutely the largest i have ever seen, over twice as thick in comparison to other restaurants. Food here is homemade old fashioned style. Rare to have homemade style meals nowadays. The half rack of pork ribs was flavorful and tender, fall off the bone tender. Beef nachos had almost everything on it , missing only the sour cream. Meals came with soup or salad, veggies, buttered toast, and homemade mashed potatoes or fries.

Solid diner food. We got salads and both were fresh and flavorful. Definitely a good quick stop if you are in the area. Service was fast and they were attentive but not overly so. Iced tea was legit as well. The bathroom floor was a bit sticky but I think the building is pretty old. Otherwise everything was good and very affordable. They have a bar area in the back and they serve breakfast all day. I think overall 4.5

The ONLY critique I can make is it looks strange from outside. It’s incredibly comfortable, the seats are amazing, amazing music, amazing staff, the food is cheap but so so expertly made. The portions are MASSIVE. If you can, come to this place. If it’s on a scale of 1-100, it’s 101.

There were four of us that went to the barbecue's for lunch. It was the first time at three of them hadn't been into the lounge area of the barbecue restaurant and the reason I chose that press the sit-in is because it was very very easy to get into. I need a ramp which they have one in the front or the restaurant but the back they can just let me off at the door and I can go straight in. Very good service very accommodating and we all had great lunches. Two of us had pulled pork sandwiches with old fashioned onion rings that were fantastic another one had patty melt with seasoned fries it was very happy with it and also he had a bowl of clam chowder that was nice and thick. My sister had the fish and chips they were the cod fish and chips and she was very pleased with that. I've been there before and just had appetizers which they had great jalapeno poppers and french fries with cheese and bacon bits on it very good! I had a lemon drop cocktail that was quite good one of the best I think I've ever had. They also have desserts if you wish any. All in all please try them they are very very good! They even open at 11 in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner which they had great Seafood, steak and a lot of other good food. So go in trying...

Okay, this is a complicated 2-star rating. If you read no further, just read this: decent food, but it’s NOT BBQ!

Chicken strips and omelette were good; slightly above average. Fries are thin and crispy. Salad was fresh. The “BBQ” dishes are not smoked (they are oven roasted) and therefore, in my opinion, not BBQ at all. The staff was friendly, but the place is a bit of a dive. It’s dated, which is okay, but it’s not clean. Example: cushion is seats is all but gone (dated) and your feet stick to the bathroom floors (that has stained walls). I didn’t want to even think about the state of the kitchen. My Mom always said that you might not be able to afford nice stuff, but you can always afford to keep your stuff nice. Prices were reasonable. In the end, I might come back, but I certainly would not go out of my way to work it in to...

Took my wife and 3 kids here. I was hangry and had turned into Betty White from the waist up at this point. My first instinct was to criticize the humble old-fashioned pub and grub hang-out vibe I got from dining room. We NEVER dine out due to one of my children being disabled and dining out is usually a no-go, but our hostess Rosie made sure he was first priority and he was very happy 😊 . All of our food showed up in exactly 18 minutes. Bubba got his chicken tenders first of course, and it was delicious. The patty melt was melty, the Halibut was flaky, and the chicken was hand dipped and all of it was BUSSIN! The quality of our experience was surprisingly good. Will absolutely recommend 👌 thank...
