MOD Pizza — Restaurant in The Dalles

Ordered Online here a few weeks ago for my lunch break, walked in to pick up my food as I stood there for a couple minutes before they asked what the name is for my order. The guy in charge of the pizza stove finally asked me for the name and it seemed as if he was annoyed with helping me. He grabbed my pizza and proceeded to toss it on to the shelf in a disrespectful manner most would see as rude. I brushed it off thinking maybe he’s just having a tough day today. Wrong! 2nd time I went in and it was the same guy (don’t know his name as they don’t wear name tags, but it was a white male with red long hair and usually wears a hat) who had greeted me with a straight and monotone attitude asking the name on the order, once again he throws my box on to the shelf where most other employees would nicely place it there or hand it to me directly. Today I went in again to pick up my food, it was during busy lunch rush so I didn’t mind waiting a few minutes before being asked for my order, but I waited for maybe 10 minutes before being asked for the name by the SAME GUY again working the pizza oven. And once again rudely tosses my pizza on the shelf and this time I had ordered a drink and some sides all of which I had to ask a different employee for because I’m not dealing with that guys rude and disrespectful mood again. I have heard from others about the same guy and the same issues from the last month at least. Hopefully something is done by management from this. I’m not normally one to write bad reviews about somewhere or someone at all but this guy just puts me in a bad mood with his horrible moods...

Though I do not have any photos at this time I will say that I was very impressed with the layout of the way they prepare the pizzas right there in front of you with the toppings that you want. Same with the salads. Myself I had a pizza and my friend had a salad and we got there just before closing time and I know that nobody likes that. Now although we were just moments before closing time we were greeted as if we were the first customer of the day. Smiles and professionalism and not to mention a fair price. Pizza taste so much better when it's fresh and it's right there straight out of the oven and into your container along with all the opportunities to have dressings and napkins and even beverages. We did not dine in again it was closing time. We got our order to go and I did not even make it out of the parking lot before consuming two slices. Two more along the way home and then there was enough left over for a little snack later on. I've been doing this reviews for quite some time and there's only a few pizza places that I have taken the time to review. I know that there's one pizza place on the other side of the river that it's great food but they should have named it amputation Pizza because it'll cost you an arm and a leg to eat there. But with Mod Pizza I still got both my arms and my legs and a new place to have some pie when I come over to The...

Really? All the toppings I love (corn, broccoli, 3 different garlic choices, artichoke hearts, basil, rosemary, donkey teeth, grits...oh- wait- did I really order that or was it just a dream????...well, let's just say there are a wide variety of choices and you don't have to choose between donkey teeth and chickens because if the toppings are an option, you can get them on your pizza for the same price as a plain cheese pizza. Yes, I am circumloquatious to say the least, but let's just go over this again...One topping or two toppings, three, four, blah- blah toppings, ten toppings, or every topping you can find at MOD Pizza, can be placed on top of yo delicious crust and then put into their clay pizza oven and baked to perfection. When that pizza comes out of the oven it will be handed to you for consumption at your leisure. Did I mention that are options for Gluten Free Pizza and cauliflower crust is also an option? I'd like to say more but how can I do that when I am so tired from a long day of work and dreams of pizza dancing in my head as I head into Sleepy Slumber land...? Good Night...
