Walking in the restaurant was smaller than expected from the outside but didn’t let that dissuade us from taking a seat. There are about 10-12 tables total in this restaurant.

We sat in a booth and the ambient noise was a good/acceptable level for dinner time. They do get busy so a reservation would be recommended if you have your heart set on the place or during a busy season/holiday. The menus were beautiful and looked well maintained. Well positioned photos of their foods/dishes.

Environment was clean and well maintained. Settings were clean and tables quickly cleaned/dishes taken away.

The quality and portions are what you’d expect for the price. All of the food was amazing and delicious. We tried several items (as seen below) and nothing disappointed. Some of the pictures are missing the full presentation because we started eating before remembering we didn’t get the picture. ☺️

I personally can judge a sushi place by how their yellowtail tastes. Here it was soft, buttery(melts in your mouth) and thicker slices cut for the sashimi. It was fresh and not fishy which says a lot of quality of the fish but also how well they store it and keep it.

Each of the sushi rolls before we devoured them were well made and stood up to chop stick fumbling by our group.

If you want good quality sushi with friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere, and have a hunger for something delicious, stop in here for a wonderful experience.

Highly recommended and thank you Kobe...

I was so disappointed In the Dalles Location. Rudest establishment I have ever been to.The first night they opened we expected they would not be running well and they were not. We looked past that. the hibachi was delicious, but people who were seated long after us were served first. That was acceptable being their opening night BUT We returned the other night to try their chinese food, They have no hostess and did not have a sign or tell people to sign in. Some people had signed in but just as many had not, we were among those. When we realised that we needed to sign in, after watching people who had and had not signed in being seated before us for more than an hour, My daughter in Law stopped the man who was seating people and told him what happened. His response was a dismissive yeah yeah yeah, RUDE! We stood there patiently there was a group the same size as ours that had came in way after us and even after being told he lead them back to seat them. We left after waiting nearly an hour and a half very hungry. We went to Canton Wok and were seated immediately and treated with respect. We will not be...

Place very clean, service very slow, it's around 90°outside and they had no ice... There were 3 other customers as we arrived. We were seated quickly, menus arrived with warm drinking water. Checking out the menu 3 other customers arrive. Our order was placed before any of them. We sat there waiting and watching everyone else receive their meals and glasses of ice water. 2 more customers arrive, we are still waiting for our meal. Everyone around us had their meals before ours arrived. Waitress never came back to our table until she had our order at that time we asked for some ice. The food looked ok....but looks are deceiving. My food was only warm, overcooked, and very dry. After eating my stomach started hurting. We have a 2 hour to drive before we get home....this is not good. My husband's food also looked good, it was only warm to the touch, he said it tasted okay....his stomach also started hurting...fun ride home. We will never eat here again. We ordered: Yokisoba with shrimp, beef, chicken &...

One of the best sushi restaurants in Oregon! The quality of the fresh sushi and sashimi is superb. There are many cooked and vegetarian sushi rolls for those who are squeamish about the raw fish options. The menu is very large and it's usually quite a dilemma for either one of us to choose what to have. Great hibachi, sushi, ramen, udon or soba???? There is a sushi bar lunch special that rocks! You choose your rolls from a large preset list and it comes with either miso soup or salad with their signature dressing. You can order 2 or 3 roll combo's for $9.95 and $12.95. It's a ridiculously great deal! Did I mention they also serve a small portion of their cucumber salad to each table? It's delicious. They have bar seating as well as booths and tables.

Well the chef refused to make handrolls with no rice so instead of saying so he tried to force us to eat the rice, the fish in the 40 dollar sashimi. Was the void of flavor 2 of with was shrimp and 2 were imitation crap (crab) it's just bad the miso soup. Tasted like onion powder and sugar water Just a really bad experience. Don't waste your time. the menu has no listed prices so you have to guess what your paying
