Kei’s Vegan Eatz is a hidden gem that truly understands the art of vegan cuisine. My experience there was nothing short of spectacular, starting with their Jackfruit BBQ Sandwich. From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. It was the best BBQ sandwich I’ve ever had, with a flavor that rivaled any pulled pork BBQ sandwich, yet completely vegan and with a delightful hint of spice.

I also tried their Dirty Rice, which was a revelation in vegan rice dishes. The combination of flavors and textures, especially the addition of vegan meat and cheese, elevated this dish to a whole new level of deliciousness.

The Jackfruit Burger was another standout item. The seasoning was perfect, and each bite was bursting with flavor. What impressed me the most was that everything was made fresh to order, ensuring that every dish was served at its absolute best.

To complement my meal, I tried the Watertree Alkaline Water, and I was blown away. It was the best-tasting alkaline water I’ve ever had, with a clean and pure taste that was truly refreshing. In fact, I loved it so much that I went to the Watertree grocery store to purchase a gallon of their water, and I made sure to let them know that Kei’s Vegan Eatz had introduced me to their amazing product.

Overall, my experience at Kei’s Vegan Eatz was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. If you’re looking for a unique and flavorful vegan dining experience, I highly recommend...

Kei's Vegan Eatz is a made-to-order food truck with an all-vegan menu, fresh ingredients, and appropriate portions. Most importantly, Kei is flexible. You can have the food your way: low sodium, no problem; no oil, no problem; need to mix and match, no problem. I'm not vegan, but I visited with a vegan, and he loved the Jackfruit BBQ Sandwich (but maybe with light BBQ next time); that's his preference. I recommend corn tortillas (if available) over flour tortillas, especially if you're taking your food to go. However, he noted that the air-fried fries went stale quickly, so eat them onsite or soon after ordering them. The Menu offers a good variety of options. Kei provides seating if you like; the value for a made-to-order all-vegan eatery (lunch for two at $26) is pretty good. Kei herself is a gregarious woman who is enjoyable to be around. It's just off the 45 southbound feeder but isolated; no other food trucks or convenience are nearby, but plenty of parking exists. Kei offers several different types of drinks, but I'm unsure what they are. You may wait 10-15 minutes for your food once ordered. I could not find any specific nutritional data. This is an excellent option if you have specific dietary restrictions, are vegan, or are vegetarian; I...

We happened upon this wonderful little eatery tonight while looking for a new vegan restaurant and can happily report that we've found a new favorite!

We'd gotten there about 30 min before closing time and were not sure if we'd still be able to order, but Kei welcomed us warmly and got us started. There was a large order in front of us so we had to wait a little while, but when the food came out we immediately knew our patience had been worth it. De-licious! Kei whipped up a fresh batch of fries and tortillas for our loaded fries and nachos, heaped high with southern-style beans and a flavorful 'meat' mix, pico, sour cream, and guac -- all the seasonings and wholesome ingredients coming together to make every bite pop. We also had to try the BBQ sandwiches of course, and they did not disappoint. The BBQ sauce was perfectly spicy and tangy, and the jackfruit was a surprisingly lovely substitute for pulled pork.

On top of the tasty food, the service was wonderful. Kei was incredible friendly and accommodating, and even offered us to try a side of dirty rice for our wait (it was delicious of course). We left with our bellies full and smiles on our faces, and will certainly be back to try...

Listen! I searched Beyoncé internet for a great vegan burger and Kei's was first on the list. So I said, "Sure, why not?" Hunty, I pulled up and saw a food truck and was skeptical. I am fearful to eat from food trucks/trailers, so this would be my first time. I didn't pull off because I was becoming hangry and the mere mortals of Htx wasn't ready for this wrath. I prayed and stepped to the window and to my surprise, BAM!, a crown wearing, ebony queen, Kei, opened the window and the spicy aroma floating from within had me sold. The BBQ burger was her suggestion and she didn't disappoint. I love the flavors and how the jackfruit melted in my mouth. I have a new spot to purchase my vegan dishes and I WILL RETURN! Spreading the word for ya ,sis🤗
