Dunkin' — Restaurant in Thomaston

Usually I don’t write reviews but I feel like someone needs to address the recent change of things going on here. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and the change of staff have definitely made this place worse. I just sat in a drive through for nearly 20 minutes NO EXAGGERATION. This is after placing an order and the young lady on the intercom having an attitude, asking me “is that it, and to pull around”. I FINALLY get to the window to get my drinks and food and saw my drink that was frozen with whipped cream just sitting there and everything melted, it had been sitting so long the drink was starting to separate from the mixture. I asked if it was my drink can it be remade. Instead of being understanding (because clearly it wasn’t something that should’ve been served), I got an eye roll along with her shutting the window walking off saying something. Not even a little “sure”. That’s not even everything, lately our grilled cheese sandwiches haven’t been melted, simply looks like you put cheese in between two slices of bread and served it. Clearly the staff needs to be retrained because before it changed these things were never an issue. Management you have got to do something because this is a small town and people love this place, but this is ridiculous. These are reoccurring events, not just a one time thing. Please...

The Thomaston location is the worst I have ever experienced and I go to all of them through out Georgia with my job... you ask for crispy bacon and NEVER get it.. no one likes stringy uncooked bacon... or chewy for that matter on a sandwich.. A man named Ben says the oven is set on a certain temperature for bacon..... my thoughts.. turn up the oven... and make ALL the bacon crispy... it’s what customers expect...consistently out of the donuts we like... and it really shouldn’t be called drive thru because all 4 times I have been there they take your money at the window then ask you to pull up because they want to keep the line running... even if no one is behind you... seems like they must be working on a timer and trying to trick the timer by having people move up... I don’t see how these people will stay in business...very poor...

Good morning to us! We needed a quick snack and coffees before our long day of errands. The line was short (always a plus, which is why we chose here over McDonald’s) and we decided to try a few new items on the menu. There was a clean and efficient transaction between employees over the intercom, and they both were enthusiastic about us being there. I even asked the gentleman, “hey man, please be honest, is this new avocado toast nasty? I’ll really be upset if I get it and it is” (I am a vegetarian and sick of just egg and cheese options) and he was like “no it’s actually pretty good, I promise!” He wasn’t wrong either. He and the girl working with him got our order perfect, out quickly, and everything (coffees and food!) tasted great. Thanks guys, easy and happy start to our busy day.
