Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Thomasville

Done with this franchise. I've given this restaurant a few opportunities to win/keep my business and they have failed for the last time. Despite ordering online (no miscommunication) for only 2 people (2 meals & drinks) there is always at least one problem with the order. I "fixed" earlier issues by going into the dining room where I could check the order and get mistakes corrected without holding up the drive through. The dining room was "closed early" today without explanation. I would say our food got cold while we waited in line except the only things we received in our order that were correct were the "order at store" drinks and the receipt printed from our Internet order. Even the drinks were contentious as the drive through attendant wanted to give us only 1 drink until I showed her on my phone that 1 drink was included with one of the meals. Several of the people working, including the DT attendant, were notably unpleasant. None were wearing facial protection correctly. With the backup at the drive through we did not check the food until we had already pulled away and we would not go back to wait 20 minutes for a correction.

If you like surprises and will eat whatever you're given - this is the restaurant for you; otherwise, I advise one of the other restaurants in the area for a much...

It was our first visit to the chain. We stopped to try a new place on my daughters recommendation while traveling as we have none in our area. I had the signature sandwich and my wife had the chicken tenders and we shared an order of fries. The chicken was definitely the highlight of the meal. Wonderfully flavorful.

The fries were disappointing. They were substantially sized and crinkle cut, but I think they were slightly undercooked so might not have been representative of what is normally served here as my daughter mentioned the fries being particularly good.

Some people rave about the zax sauce, and while it was very good on the signature sandwich, we were not a fan of dipping the chicken tenders or fries in it. A little too strongly flavored for dipping IMO.

I think there might have been and order mix-up, and I think my wife ended up with a chicken tender meal, so I also got to try the included coleslaw. It was fine, but not outstanding. The cabbage was fresh and crispy though it had significant 'heat' (coming from the cabbage), but the sauce was not very flavorful. Definitely inferior to the excellent coleslaw from my recent visit to Bojangles.

DON'T STOP here, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else instead. Read through the reviews, the customer service at this location has been lacking for a long while.

Stopped in here on 5/19/2023 at 9:11 pm and placed a mobile order. Ordered a Big Zax Snak Meal and 3 cookies. Went in to look for my order, first off it was in the DoorDash bin instead of the Mobile order bin...I was like okay they mistakenly placed it in the wrong bin. I picked up the bag and noticed immediately that the bag only had the food container in it, the 3 cookies were missing.

When I asked the employee about my missing cookies he told me "Oh sorry, we are all out of cookies. Would you like some extra tenders instead?" So your employees were just hoping I wasn't even going to notice my cookies were missing until I had already left. I was so wrapped up in the ordeal about my missing cookies that I didn't realize until I got home that I didn't even have my drink. If this is your typical customer service I will take my business to Dairi-O right across the street. I would not recommend going to this location, I've already sent feedback to Zaxby's website...
