It seems Everytime I go to that particular Chili's it's always a problem my daughter wanted to take me to dinner so I said ok. We decided on Chili's we got there at 7:30 pm waited about 20 mins. I said no problem so finally close to 8 pm we were seated we were greeted and told who our server would be, her name was Quianna she was very, very nice. We ordered the 2 for $25.00 and a side of bone in wings with BBQ, and honey Chipotle. I asked that everything come out at the same time so after about 20 mins we received our order the wings had buffalo sauce on them and were boneless, I told server that this wasn't what we wanted or ordered she kindly took them back. So once again another 20 mins went by and the wings came out again with buffalo sauce all on them, once again I told the server that this still wasn't right she kindly took them back by this time me and my daughter was very cold and agitated. While I am sitting I notice my cup of water had 2 lip prints on it I showed it to the host, the server, and asked for the manager. When the manager came he apologized repeatly and adjusted the bill I thanked him but truthfully I don't want to go back too that Chili's anymore why I say that is because I went for my birthday in May of 2019 and was unsatisfied with my food. At that time it was the ribs I asked for sauce on the side it was sauce all over it and they were cooked extremely hard, the next incident was I called in a phone order just to get home and not have my side of garlic bread I did call back and a manager once again adjusted the bill. I was very angry because I lived all the way by Lakeshore drive off of 67th street and Paxton that was a long way for me to come to eat just to be disappointed each time the bill was adjusted but the point is it should not happen at all. I can see a mistake once in a while because none of us are perfect, last but not least the wings was cooked very hard and had feathers on them I show it to the manager he agreed that they were cooked too hard by this time my daughter paid the adjusted amount and gave a tip and I just wanted to leave and that's what we did. The cooks really need to be more focused and do better it is always room for improvement. Thanks Shronda Smith, and...
Read moreIt's been several years since I've visited this establishment. I was extremely disappointed with this visit and will not be returning. There were 5 in our party. Our server was a pleasant young lady, but not as attentive as we would have liked,But I do believe it was because their short staffed. Our food and drinks came everyone's order was right except mine so an additional 20 minute wait. Once my food arrived I just wanted to take it home. Upon our arrival I pulled our server aside and let her know I'd be paying the bill and please don't let anyone at our table know. We'll needless to say that was a disaster. When it was time to settle up I went toward the back where staff was gathered. It's amazing that people don't have the common sense to speak, they just stare like you've done something wrong with yr presence. At some point both a woman and a gentleman approached me with these "what does she want looks" and asked is there something you need? I stated that I was waiting on my server so I could discretely cover the bill, eventually she came over 10 minutes later I paid the bill and inspite of the less than receiving ideal customer service I gave her a generous tip. I go back to the table and several minutes later she hands me the receipt in front of everyone! There was a reason I didnt want others to know. I was so annoyed. Me and 2 other just left and the guy at the door I'm guessing is a manager or host said thank you we appreciate you. I just continued walking out the door. They need better cooks because when I got home my Philly steak was a bunch of sauted vegetables and cheese between 2 pieces of extra thick bread there was such a tiny and I do mean tiny amount of meat it was ridiculous it looked more like a vegetarian special. The drinks were watered down by the generous amount of ice put in our alcohol beverages and servers were sweeping and serving, not very hygienic. No three...
Read moreArrived about 8:30pm with 7 others after 2 days of funerals. As a young adult my family frequented this location regularly & rarely if ever had an issue. Well this night after 30+ years of being a customer of Chili's I'll never stop at this location again. We waited an hour to be seated( the dining area was only 1/4th full), the Hostess was Rude & seated others while rollong her eyes at us as she seated people in an area she previously said was "closed". We asked for a manager & only the Asst. Mgr was on duty & he had no idea of what was going on or why. We were finally seated & no waiter until we had sat there in the area that was supposed to be closed another 30mins. We placed our drink & meal orders & another 30mins went by & no one even offered water nor brought any of our drinks. After being snubbed by the staff for no known reason we left. 2hrs wasted after 2 days of funerals, we know how valuable our time is especially when we all, except 1 of the 8 people live over 300 miles away. I'm a Rewards member & Chili's is mine & my wife's favorite restaurant but this location needs a visit from corporate management. I'm a Customer Service Professional & former Retail Manager and I always treat those that wait on me with an abundance of respect because you never know what someone has going on in their life but we didn't even get an apology. This was 1 of my Mom's favorite places too, she introduced our family to it not long after it opened & would drive from 1 W. Superior St. past our home on 100th St. to this location to pick up dinner quite often. She was a Concierge & Customer Service Professional as well and I'm 100% sure she would have called Corporate & no longer dined there until things got better. Word of mouth is the best advertising but it can also be the best for pointing...
