Harold's Chicken Shack — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Excellent We order the wings meal, tenders meal, and catfish fillet meal and I couldn't even sit down the food was FIRE!!!!! Fye Fye lol My husband and kids enjoyed everything morsel! The chicken was fresh and juicy and fries as well! The catfish was fresh and seasoned to perfection and the tenders were so succulent all with mild sauce salt & pepper!!!! You must visit and don't order if your not serious about seriously good food! This is the spot for the south suburbs I have been to others from north Chicago to homewood and they are subpar when it comes to this establishement!!! The man cooking should be crowned Harolds king!!! I will be back often! My suggestion sign up with UberEATS and or Grubhub because people need this in their life. Made me so happy & was so cost...

I ordered from door dash, it came in a timely fashion. First off, I ordered a 16 piece & got 15. Not the first time I've been shorted chicken. Think it's part procedure to keep a piece or 2. Maybe they Had a problem with their arithmetic or if the door dash person stole one. I tasted the oil..not fresh. The chicken texture was like a gizzard. I waited til today to see if we got sick, we're still alive!!! Lbvs. This location needs to visit the Griffith Indiana location and eat, see how it's supposed to be. Hopefully..maybe.. possibly 🤭 it was just a bad day, but I won't be back...

Really Harold's?!!! The chicken wings were disgusting. I ordered via Uber Eats otherwise I would have caught this issue while there. They cooked the wings in OLD cooking oil. The wings were dark, mildly burned, had no flavor, actually not a lick of chicken flavor to be tasted, only a burnt taste. The fries were old and cold. Be good humans and do the right thing.
