We went to here to grab something to eat before we hit the road. My daughter who is six orders a happy meal from a seemingly perturbed manager possibly named Magdalen. At first I thought the McManager didnât understand her when she said âhappy mealâ six piece with double fries but it wasnât that she said that. When we asked if there was an issue, she said yes your daughter is rude. Now Iâm not sure how placing an order saying those words were rude but she could have added a âpleaseâ on the end of her order however to receive blank stares and bewildered glances were unprofessional and frankly rude. My husband is confused why she wasnât asking for payment and the McManager just IGNORED US. As someone who spent time at McDonalds corporate, whose uncle was the regional security director for McDonalds corporate I KNOW this is NOT the level of customer service they subscribe too. They must begin cracking down on franchises who arenât meeting even the baseline for taking orders and interacting with people. Very displeased with this establishment. I plan to file a formal complaint against the McManager possibly Magdalen (she refused to release her name or communicate at all and of course she did not have a name tag)
Here are some tips to make money and make customers feel appreciated.
Tip 1: HIRE people who arenât attitudinal combative or bias
Tip 2: TRAIN them to interact with people of ALL ages young to old and impress a level of respect is given to all customers
Tip 3: EVALUATE the interactions your customers are having. Just looking at these google reviews would lend someone to say there is a PROBLEM but Iâm just another one star review in the past 3 months. It is hard to make progress when donât know where you stand, where your going or how far you have come.
Tip 4: You never know who speaks SpanishâŚ.As a fluent Spanish speaker just getting back from Puerto Rico, hearing her talking about my six year old daughter in Spanish was tacky. Let me tell you why, I was on my way to work threw tollway and I decided to stop at this McDonaldâs for my favorite and only meal that that I constantly get from McDonaldâs which is the fish fillet extra value meal. I normally get my McDonaldâs from around my job in countryside IL were itâs hot and fresh both sandwich and fries but I was already running late to work so I stop at this location because it was convenient for me and I could eat on my way to work. I order my food thru drive thru customer service was nice they offer plenty of promotion and suggestions which was good. I received my food fries was very hot and salty which I love good. so you know Iâm hype because Iâm like yeahhhh my sandwich finna be bomb NOPE . I took one bite. ONE BITE. And my sandwich was cold as ever to the point i couldnât even finish it. I was so upset I called the location spoke with the manager on duty and she offer for me to come back for a free meal and dessert which was cool but I couldnt because I was on my way to work and I had to stop again at a different restaurant (more money out my pocket)so I could put something on my stomach before. so she told me I can come back after work which I did and I kindly declined the free meal and just wanted a refund. There was no other customers and took 5 minutes to remake my one sandwich that I actually complained about by the time I got back to my seat my other 2 sandwiches were cold and that's when I discovered a hard chicken sandwich and hard bread on the other sandwich. Didn't eat the food and left pissed. The employees were not friendly and looked like they hated their jobs. A bus came in as I got my sandwich replaced and all the employees rolled their eyes and were acting annoyed that they got some customers. 10/10 will never return here again. -2/10 rating. Worst...
