McDonald's — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I went to McDonald’s ,on Sibley in calumet city, 3-7-22. I ordered inside,the burrito meal. It took 20mins after asking for the manager. I got home and the meal looked awful. The hash browns were exactly that,mushy and half cooked….lump. I called and spoke to a male manager, giving my complaints. He instructed me to bring back the food /receipt and he will replace it. I thought he said his name was either Rafael or Eddie. I went back today at 8:30, and asked for the manager I spoke to on the phone. I was told ‘no person works here by that name,and we don’t have a male manager. I explained that I talked to him yesterday. A employee took my receipt to a manager,I guess. She came back and said,you can pick from three other meals but without the coffee….because I didn’t bring it back. WOW! WHAT? So I purchased the small senior coffee. The manager took my order and bagged it up. I got home and the order was wrong. I took it back for a second time….asking for the manager. After explaining my complaint, she took my order without the coffee, she stated the same reason as before. I stated to her,my whole order was supposed to be replaced because of their mistake. Not to replace the coffee was plain NASTY and PETTY. They throw out coffee all day . REALLY? I asked for the manager name who I spoke to earlier and this one. They both refuse to give me their names. I REFUSE to eat this food….I don’t know what they did to it. So I made a few calls. I Will not go back to...

Absolutely terrible!!! The drive thru was packed as usual, and expected- however the line barely moved in the 19 minutes I sat still, waiting. Only to have my order mixed up with the car in front of me who actually was given my drink and food to, who opened the food to check the sandwich only to find out it wasn't what she ordered at all. Subsequently we waited for her order to be rectified, which is where she realized she was over charged immensely for the order she made.... so after 6 minutes of discussion about what she was owed, finally I am able to pay for my food, that I have to wait for it to be remade because the original order was opened by the wrong person..... I'll gladly wait a reasonable amount of time for fresh food but get this, I get my food and low and behold, it wasnt prepared properly. Before anyone says I should expect that from McDonald's late nite drive thru, I disagree. There has never been a time where lettuce belongs on a regular cheeseburger. And there was no attempt by staff or management to appease our long unnecessary wait time or the inconvenience of having the wrong sandwiches in my bag. I will be driving to any other McDonald's besides the one located in cal city on sibley Blvd. Sorry but your staff tonight looked like they never trained. 35 minutes for some cheese burger mini meals is absolutely ridiculous. 🗣AND MY DAMN FRIES...

McDonald's experience Driving in to the lot, the drive through line was excessive, prompting me to walk in where there was only one another person in line in front of me who had yet to order. For the first minute of walking in, everyone was scrambling to cover the busy drive through, when the manager noticed two people in line, she came over to take our order. My turn in line the manager asked my order and in the middle, she literally, grabbed a crew member to finish my order at which time I requested a 4 piece tender and large fry without salt. I waited accordingl, approximately 5 minutes, and in my car opened the box to find 4 nuggets. I went back inside to make them aware of the inaccuracy of the order, at which time the manager at crew member discussed the confusion without me, and the manager proceeded to issue me a refund on her register. Wait!!!! I ordered and expect a 4 piece tender... "well sir, you didn't get your order so I'm offering you a refund!" Whaaaat!? I didn't request a refund, but since that was my option, I took it and now I'll go to Wendy's for nuggets NEVER to return here again. Because of service issues, I've not gone to a McDonald's in a long while, but this experience has only proven why I've not shopped McDonald's... I guess returning to try a new menu item was my error and for that, I should only be...
