Pablo's Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Though I'm not a Illinois resident anymore we have stopped in a few times when coming or leaving Illinois. The place is absolutely a great place to stop eat and have a few cocktails..it's a shame that a dishonest corrupt mayor is playing games because someone refuses to back her in her age that is killing this great village. When we lived in Illinois my plumbing business did alot of work through the town. Never had any issues obtaining permits through the building dept however I have business associates who run in to problems obtaining permits. I couldn't rank food because they didn't sell it daily. They do have free tacos on Tuesday. And soul food on Thursday for sale. The Dj does great, especially with up to date music and old school classics. The drinks are potent, and sometimes you need to ask for more juice. The employees are fun and interact with plenty of patrons. I will say security is a little too handsy, but I guess that's to make sure no one brings in weapons. So I'm cool with that.
