Wendy's — Restaurant in Thornton Township

• Updated 8/26/18* Nothing has changed here. Each time I go it is always a disappointment. My son wanted a frosty. So I went only for a frosty. They were sold out! Isn't that what Wendy's is known for? Went back again. Same thing. Out of Frosty. Maybe they don't want to sell for .50 cents. like the commercials said. Or maybe just poor management; didnt plan for the promotion.* That did it! That will be the last time I ever go to that Wendy's. I let it go for too long. The rudeness and poor customer service is inexcusable. I was there today May 30th Memorial day at 635p. My son wanted a 4 for 4 meal and my daughter wanted a 10 piece chicken nugget meal. I asked for the Nugget meal first. Then I asked for the 4 for 4. After she told me the price I said it sounds like you missed something. Plus I didn't see the Nuggets on the board. I told her looks like you forget the Nuggets. She goes "What sauce?" I tell her and then, I say sprite. She actually had an attitude that I even mentioned she made an error. Then when I get to the window they still didn't give me the Nuggets meal. I told the lady and she says well you didn't get charged for it. I told her but I want it so charge me and give it to me. She snapped back, "Calm down!" and said something else smart. I cannot remember. Then they are talking out loud about me amongst themselves. Like how dare I still want my correct order. So rude and disrespectful young girls. Finally I get home and the 4 for 4 is wrong! Lol They only had one sandwich. Management must not supervise or train properly, or they simply don't care. I wish I could give more than two stars but I just can't. First of all, the customer service is lacking more often than not. I've been at the drive through speaker for longer than 5 minutes on several occasions before anyone acknowledged me.....then when they finally do say something, there's no apology or anything....usually just a "go head with your order" -_- I've pulled up to the window to pay for my order, and the male cashier was talking on his cell phone, and he didn't even acknowledge me or say thank you. Just took my card, swiped it and gave it back without saying a word to me, he continued his phone conversation the entire time......unprofessional much? Also, I want to know why they make such a big deal when you ask for something extra. For instance, I've asked for extra sauce for my nuggets and 9/10 times it's not in the bag. Sometimes I'll ask again when I see it's not in my bag, and they usually act like it's such an inconvenience to give it to me. Last time, I had 3 orders of chicken nuggets and asked for some extra sauce, she didn't put it in the bag. So I asked again nicely, and she gave me ONE extra sauce packet, begrudgingly. What's the big deal? If you have to charge for extra sauce, that is completely fine with me. I'll pay for it. Usually Wendy's is my favorite place to go for nuggets. November 29th at 1:30a me and my family went to this location for some food. When we got there we got a rude welcoming and the lady had an attitude because our music was "playing too loud" we turned the music completely off. We ordered a Spicy Cesar salad and 3 of the 4 piece nuggets and a small fry. We asked for sweet and sour sauce. We also asked for a sprite. When we got to the window they ignored us for 15 minutes and finally came to the window to collect payment. When the manager handed my fiancé his card back she dropped it on the floor and didn't even apologize. Just closed the window and walked away. When we got our food we pulled off. As I was checking the bags we had no sauce or dressing for the salad. Our nuggets were ice cold and the chicken was missing in my salad. And our fries weren't salted and cold too. The next day I called to report it and the same manager from the night before told me that nobody made an order like that and that there's no record of us being there. She told me the only way she'd replace our food is if we brought in the receipt , which she didn't give us, and when I told her that she said there's nothing she can do and hung up.
