So... Labor Day we decided we wanted cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We live in the North Broomfield area. We were referred to Duffy Roll, which are all south of Denver. Showed up... closed! Cool, I get it. Labor day and all. Stopped by the Denver Biscuit Company... yeah.. not waiting an hour to get food. But good for them. Sat in the parking lot and Googled cinnamon rolls. Came across Lisa Anne's. Gave a quick call to see if they were open. Said she closed at noon unless she sells out. Ok... intrigued now that someone sells out of their cinnamon rolls. We lived North so we have nothing to lose. Made it there with 45 min to spare and we were lucky enough to order cinnamon rolls and coffe for my wife and I and even ordered 3 to take home to the kids. Upon my first impression... I was truly impressed with the business set, personalization of her bakery and the aroma of an awesome bakery. Owner was working and very friendly and full of information on her success and products. Upon asking she even explained whom she dedicated it to as it was listed in memory of. She warmed our rolls, asked to let her know our thoughts after eating and we took them on to her front patio which was quaint and very relaxing. Sliced into her cimmamom roll with a fork like a hot knife cutting thru butter.... OMG!!!! Absolutely one the best if not the best roll I have ever had! No joke!! The flavor, the frosting the taste was beyond comprehension! My wife was just as ecstatic as I was. Price was phenomenal but the food even better!! Good enough that when I returned inside she asked my honest opinion. The only thing I could say that was we were going to become good friends! I was truly impressed. Enough to the point where I pre paid a large order to pick up for my employees at a breakfast we were having a few days later. Upon leaving we also picked out a carrot cake and pumpkin muffin. We ended up eating them later that evening and honestly just as good as the cinnamon rolls. Truly some of the best baked good I have eaten and could see that they were made with compassion! I quit eating at retail places years ago as I was in search of more quality custom restaurant and bakery food. Lisa... you have earned a few clients for life off of your baking skills and the conversation was great as well! Kudos to you and your team! We will be returning on a...
Read moreWhat an amazing place! Not only are the Cinnamon rolls and Carmel rolls amazing (not overly sweet and real homemade caramel!) but the place has so much charm!
I needed a specially made birthday cake for my wife that was modeled after one she had years ago in another state. This was a tall order as she often refers to that cake as "the best she has ever had". I called around to all the local bakeries and they either lacked the correct ingredients or just offered another cake that was similar. Lisa Anne's was the only bakery that not only had the ingredients but also could make it to the specifications. My wife is very particular about her sweets as she thinks most pastry items these days are sickly sweet but she LOVED THIS! She said this was as good if not better than that cake from long ago.
Thank you Lisa Anne's! You made her birthday...
Read moreGot there around 10:30 which is definitely a little late if you want to choose from a decent variety. Still! Flavors and selections will still not disappoint. We got a cinnamon roll and some chocolate chip cookies. Cinnamon roll was so light and not too overwhelmingly cinnamon forward and there was so much chocolate in the cookies. They were incredible. I will be back and try their sticky buns.
Round 2 got there around 830 this time and was able to get a caramel roll, cinnamon roll and a ham and cheese breakfast roll. Both were amazing. The box was still warm when we got there. There weren't any parking spots left and we had to wait in the shortest line. All-in-all, love, love, love this place. Everything looks and smells great. I don't think you'll be disappointed...
