Nick The Greek — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

This place is DE-LI-CIOUS! We have been eating once a week for several weeks now. It all started when "Nick the Greek" popped up as an option in on Uber Eats, which was surprising, because it is a bit further than our usual options (~20 min drive). When we order via Uber Eats, it does arrive a bit colder than ideal, but like I mentioned, it's a 20 min drive, so it is expected. BUT, let me tell you, even "a bit cold" it's GOOD!

Last week we drove out to T.O. and decided to try it fresh. OH.MY.GOODNESS. It is even BETTER, of course! But what stood out to us the most was their SERVICE! The staff were very engaging, they cared about ... well us. They cared if we were happy with the food, they cared to make sure our table was wiped down properly. It sounds small, but it really had the biggest impact.

I've eaten here before a few times, but I may not EVER eat here again.I ordered the Gyro Plate w/beef/lamb meat. Fries were overcooked as was the Pita, both were pretty much inedible. The Greek salad was smaller than I've gotten with my orders before but it's still good - what little I got. They've substantially raised their prices and it's just NOT worth it ($17 and change for my Gyro platter), there are better places for less money in Thousand Oaks if you want Gyros or a Gyro Platter/Salad. The ONLY reason I don't give them a 1 Star rating is because the Gyro Meat (Beef/Lamb), was very good. For what these guys are charging, you can't have these kind of mistakes and small portions, they won't survive/make it. Way...

We just went there. Rude rude cashier. Bad service. GARBAGE FOOD. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. And they barely put any meet in your plate. I asked politely where is the chicken in my plate? The rude cashier said: It’s here! We only put 4 oz. I said that doesn’t look like 4oz, plus whatever was there, it was oily greasy… Really, I kid you not it looked like they just picked it up from the garbage….disgusting… You would think he would do something about it… Nothing he went back to play on his computer… I would never go back to that...
