I'll start this by saying that most locals know you don't go to coach's expecting great service, but I had one of the worst dining experiences here on Friday, 6/25/21 and have probably sworn this place off for good. It's a shame because I live right down the street, but I would rather take my business elsewhere.
My husband, 4 year old, and myself arrived around 7:30 and were pleasantly surprised to find that we could immediately get a table, but that's as good as the night got.
After about 10min our server (who was very frazzled) made it to our table, we placed our drink and food orders at the same time. Mozzarella sticks, chili cheese fries, a burger cooked to medium, a 10 and a 6 piece wing. Another few minutes and she brings our drinks (all in to-go cups which I noted was odd because no other table had them)
20-30min later we get the burger, this is right after I ran into our server in the bathroom and she told me that our food was finally coming up and should be right now. Cool, we have the burger so everything else should be right behind now.
Another 10min goes by and our server stops by to ask what we're missing. This is when I realized that we were in trouble.
After another 10-15min, and watching every other table receive food, my husband asked if we could just get everything else to go.
A different girl finally brought our fries, we asked her for a box, ready to just go. By the time she brought us a box our server comes with our check, letting us know that our wings had been taken off the total.
"So, are we not getting our food?" "I'm sorry, I don't see it back there. But we comped them off the check." "The rest of our order is just gone?" "I don't know, but I don't see it."
At this point my husband is irate, my toddler is exhausted and hungry, and we were just ready to leave.
My husband threw cash down on the table and I'm pretty sure we still paid for mozzarella sticks we never received.
The whole situation was absolutely ridiculous and I will not be back. How do you lose an entire order like that? How do you not have anything to offer in the face of such a mistake?
I understand that staffing issues are at an all time high and business is steadily climbing causing stress on the team there working, but please get your team organized so no one else has to lose their order like that.
Feel free to go watch a game or live music, but maybe eat snack...
Read moreIn town for a baseball tournament, we had a large crowd for a team lunch. Normally places cannot handle that large of a crowd, but Coaches Corner not only got us in with zero issues, the service was amazing!
Kaitlyn was our waitress. She was on her own with our party of 40. In our experience with large groups for meals in travel ball, we didn’t expect to be out anytime soon.
Kaitlyn was calm, cool and confident! I said, you’re going to be busy if you’re on your own! She laughed and said “I’m ok.” She was beyond ok! She took orders, delivered drinks and food as soon as the kitchen had them ready. Our drinks were never empty and it seemed like she was always available whenever we needed something.
I was truly amazed and impressed. Outstanding job!!
The food was very good as well!! My family ordered fried mushrooms, chicken tenders, fish and shrimp special, the macho Camacho nachos, and wings. Everything was excellent.
Between the service, food and atmosphere, we really had a great time!!

Read moreThis is not the 1st time we have been to Coaches. We live down the street. However, it will be our last. The food is adequate for bar food, the service is OK but the servers are always nice. Today, the service was appalling. Took an hour to get our order taken, my husband had to beg for a second beer. Then she took our order and lost it. We watched other tables get their food. Most seated way after us. Some tables had been seated 2xs while we were there for over an hr with a sweet tea and a beer. She said "it's the grill, honey. I have no control over that.". But she did have control over when she took our order when we first were seated. She most certainly had control over getting us another round of drinks. Again, we waited over an hour to get the order taken. We had to flag her down. We got there at 4:55 and left at 6:45. Never got food.
