Ok so let me start by saying if I had to rate the quality of the food alone I’d rate them 4 stars, but I have to give them 2 stars based on the quality of the service received. Upon walking in we were looked at as if we walked into the wrong place and then proceeded to wait to be acknowledged and ask if we’d be dining in or carrying out. Now I might not have taken that so offensively, but during our time there I witnessed multiple individuals walk in and be greeted promptly and politely both of which we were not, I guess they looked like they walked into the right place. After being seated we waited a ridiculous amount of time for someone to actually come to our table and ask for our drink order. I proceeded to ask menu questions as I’ve frequented many Thai restaurants around the city but this was my first time here. Upon asking if they served sushi as well, just as some of the other Thai restaurants I’ve gone to do, I was told “This is a Thai restaurant” as if I was unaware of where I was and what type of cuisine we would be having for the night. At this point I was beyond irritated at the disgustingly rude behavior of this woman. We received our meal and attempted to simply enjoy the food but it was very hard to do as we continued to be ignored unlike the other individuals who walked in after us. The taste of the food was good but the poor service we received let’s me know I probably will NOT dine...
Read moreHad to change my review to better fit what's going on there now. Unfortunately, the quality has dropped tremendously. I ordered the Chicken Pho. What I got was a bowl of chicken noodle soup, there wasn't a vegetable to be found. I think they wave the veggies over the bowl a few times. Other than that it was basically broth and Chinese 5 spice power sprinkled on top. My friend got green curry Thai hot the exact same thing she's gotten for literal years. They clearly made a mistake not only did they give her the scorpion hot, but the owner even caught that it was the wrong color (orange) but played it off as it was what she ordered. When the server was asked, the server had no choice but to repeat what the owner said which was "nothing in the recipe has changed". even though it was orange, and it had extra pepper flakes. The biggest give away was not only the bright orange color for the green curry. But it tasted like peppers. Zero other flavor.. just pepper. Now I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I don't particularly like being lied to and then getting told we're wrong and we still had to pay for food that wasn't even eaten. This will be the last visit we ever make here. We've been coming here for years. On to the next place. the Server was...
Read moreWe were so disappointed in the quality of the food and the prices are honestly shockingly high, especially considering that it’s not downtown … but if the food was amazing, okay, that’s fine. You’ve earned it. But that’s not the case here. The chicken satay ($16) involved some pieces of chicken that were not terribly impressive, seemed sort of braised instead of grilled. There were gristles 😱. The peanut sauce was not good… sweet, bland; basically it inspired us to ask “why don’t we do this at home more often, because we can make a kick a$$ peanut sauce and this isn’t like that at all.” We each got a really really small amount of tofu with our dish as the protein. Mine literally had three small chunks of tofu in the entire dish, massaman curry which was $18. The sauce was incredibly thin, the potatoes were freezer-burned (I did pick out and eat all of the baby green beans, which were fine). We paid and left a few minutes after getting our food, my wife barely touched hers (one bite told her it was not good) and our server didn’t even ask if everything was okay with our food. There are several much better options for Thai in Savannah, I highly recommend that you avail yourself of...
