Hobby Lobby — Local services in Tilton

I found after reading several comments that I had a very similar experience tonight with a "male manager"as several other reviewers at this Hobby Lobby. I would guess the WOMEN who posted these reviews were all harassed by the same un-named "male manager" I was. His name is RANDY. Not long after I entered the store as I was browsing in the paint isle I noticed his eyes on me and my cart as he briskly walked past the opposite end of the isle I was in. He soon appeared behind me. His demeanor (eyes scanning each item in my cart) and proximity (what happened to six feet?) made me very uncomfortable. So much so, I accidentally dropped something I was looking at. After reading the comments on Google reviews its obvious targeting young women is a pattern of RANDY'S. I didnt appreciate his attitude when later I approached him in an attempt to clear up any misconceptions about myself. As well as, ask which items were on sale that week. He explained he had approached me BECAUSE I dropped something. That was his first lie. Which lead to several others in his attempt to defend his reasoning for singling me out. I was prepare to spend 100 or more dollars as I have done several times in the past. However, I left the store empty handed and in tears. I'm not the first female to be followed, and not so subtly accused of attempting to shop lift. One women even said he flat out told her "women her age TEND to shoplift"!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!? IF THAT ISNT DISCRIMINATION IDK WHAT IS! I haven't finished reading the reviews but out of the 5 I read on customer service 4 mentioned a male manager and all 4 were women. I will not set foot in Tilton Hobby Lobby until Randy is removed or apologizes. Ha. I'd be willing to bet there is no way in hell a man like RAAANDY would ever apologize to me or any other women. Idk where RANDY got his training/qualifications to be sniffing out potential shop lifters. When I worked in customer service we were trained not to approach, kill em' with kindness and leave it to the professionals. I visited the Tilton Hobby Lobby. This is the one you need to visit when you have a chance. I give the Tilton location 5 Stars. This location is just like their stores in Texas! Clean, organized, great stock, along with friendly staff. I’ll be visiting the Tilton Location when I need those unique items especially those knobs!! Their selection of knobs will change the look of any bureau or dresser. If you didn’t know It’s not just a craft store!

I want to share that when I first search online for a Concord NH Hobby Lobby, Tilton did Not come up in search even when I moved the map. Manchester and a few further south came up. I visited Manchester location. Unfortunately, I was taken back that it appeared to be “off”. Almost like it was going out of business or untidy.

Tilton location knows how to keep a store and staff 5 Star. Hoping the staff continues to be friendly and helpful. And that your Tilton NH location stays clean, organized and up to date merchandise.

They always have a huge selection of everyday decorative items if you are redoing a bedroom bathroom or kids room from wall art to baskets, lamps, mirrors, and even small furniture.
