I like CURBSIDE. When I do, the sticky receipt is captured (like a "post-it")on the bag. It contains what you ordered, the amount you paid on the APP, and a website McDVoice.com for a survey. I love doing this. McDonald's receives an honest opinion of the location, the food and customer service. Upon completion, I write a number on the receipt (maybe seven numbers?). So, off I went to McDonald's to take advantage of the offer before it expired (30 days). This location is one that I have always used the CURBSIDE or DRIVE THRU. However, this time I decided to go inside. The young fella that took my order was kind, stating he had to complete a task (delivering an order to Curbside). He came back shortly thereafter and took my order, using the completed survey written number to get that BOGO. He was unfamiliar with the process. He stepped away to ask someone. She, a young African American, came back and admantly advised me that what I did was improper and she could not honor the survey. She said I needed a Curbside Receipt. I advised her that this was the method that I had used for many years. Secondly, since it was ordered in the APP for Curbside pickup, this was all I had. She apologized and remained with her decision. I walked back to my car. As I was about to step into the Subaru, my car, defeated, I made a decision to go back in and ask for a manager. After a long wait (ten minutes) and another request for the manager (on the part of the lad), she walked up. A rather middle age lady came up. Surely, someone with a bit of wisdom - and operational knowledge. Was I set up for failure? She parroted the same message as the younger employer. The written document was titled Curbside at the top, with the website and the number I wrote upon it, after completing the survey. It was not the document she was required to use for the survey BOGO. I continued to press my point. In the interest of customer service, she gave me the second burger at no cost. I remember when I paid fifty - five cents for a Big...
Read moreThe McDonalds in Toccoa has some serious problems with attitudes but I’m not the one to get smart with that’s for sure because I match your energy. It took the girl forever to take our order but that’s probably because they have her doing 5 things at once then my son that has Autism he always gets his drinks with NO ice he will not drink cold drinks period. So we get to the window where they hand out food the manager is working at the window I tell her again this tea was suppose to be without ice and she wants to catch a attitude and grab the drink and say we aren’t suppose to be taking stuff back through the window. I said well don’t then but we still need a small tea with NO ice like we ask for and we didn’t ask for all the extra information. Then we check his kids meal that was suppose to have extra fries and it doesn’t have extra fries it has two of the small fries that come in the happy meals. He was suppose to have small fries in a Kids meal the the extra fry on top of that because he didn’t want apples. The other two happy meals I got was correct they had extra fries which was the two mini fries that come in happy meals because once again my children didn’t want apples but extra fries. And before anybody comes at me side ways yes I’ve worked fast food before and this McDonald’s to be exact was one of the locations I get it can be stressful but to the Managers that’s suppose to be setting examples for there staff as well you need to do better y’all have a bunch of minors and young adults working at this location and the management’s attitudes suck. And I tried to get the managers name and of course she had no name tag on. I know it was on...
Read moreIf only I could rate them with a 0. If you go before “late night” it’s one bad experience, if you go during its another. EVERY SINGLE time I go before 12, the manager and all of the staff excluding one sweet cashier and I assume one cook, are outside on the patio having a party. If you’re as unlucky as I always am, the manager will come in the store and try to act like she cares by shoving your food out of the window and GOD FORBID you ask her a question, she basically grunts at you and closes the window. NOW, if you go during “late night” they are ALWAYS claiming to be “cash only.” When I say this, I mean I’ve gone multiple days in a single week trying to eat in the night since I work nights and sleep during the day. They’ll tell you they’re cash only. This is 2017, people don’t carry cash and I’m always amazed how I can go to the next closest McDonalds and they don’t have this issue. But my most FAVORITE is when you go between 230 and 5 and they say THEYRE CLOSED. I have never known a 24 HOUR place of business to close EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for hours. I can promise you I will go 15 extra minutes down the road to a different McDonalds than go here anymore. You’re either hit with extremely rude staff, incorrect orders or “closed” claims. Whoever owns this location really needs to do some work because I am completely disgusted with...
