Wendy's — Restaurant in Toccoa

I never try to leave bad reviews but this is a must . We stopped here on our way home from a family vacation , and it is the worst experience I have ever had at a Wendy’s .

The air conditioner is broken and it’s about 100 degrees inside . They messed up our sons kids meal order and gave him nuggets instead of a hamburger , I explained this to the employee who in turn just stared at me blankly . … so I stared right back saying I need a hamburger for my son . She explains if I give the nuggets back they’ll exchange them - no big deal I grab the nuggets and give them back - she then throws them back in the bin of nuggets cooking in the kitchen … this grossed me out , my son touched these, I touched these , the employee touched these then they’re thrown back in with the nuggets cooking … I wanted to vomit . After waiting for a cheeseburger forever I’m told “sorry we only have three employees working here” . This is fine I understand companies don’t hire enough and don’t pay these people enough to stay . My son still hadn’t gotten his frosty so I explained we were still waiting on this … the employee then filled a medium frosty half way and handed it to my son … I stared at her and explained we ordered a medium and you only filled it half way ? She said “we aren’t allowed to fill them to the top “ …

I would quit if I worked here . It’s hot as hell , your employees are miserable and the customer service is awful .

Drive Thru 3-9 @ 615pm construction in progress. Worker on roof throwing off debris landed near drive thru area If windy would have blow into someone’s car. No type of webbing protection. Debris all next to walls and parking lot. What type of dust inside floating around Ordered new 4x4 double stack burger Large fry No Salt. Large Tea No Ice And Single No Cheese No Pickle. Large Fry and Large Tea No Ice. Price $14 and change. No Receipt given or in bag Received. Double Stack with small cheese slice and One and 3/4 patty for 2nd and sticking half way out of bun, Warm not Hot What a wreck. Poor imitation of Z’s Nibbler. Fries Cold Hard and only half filled container. Tea Correct. Chicken Nuggets as part of meal. Cold mechanical pressed left overs with fillers. Looked like a piece of old fashioned bread coated and fried Single No Cheese No Pickle. Correct But room temperature. Not Hot Fries Large Filled but Cold and Hard Tea Correct. In person few weeks ago Two different days. Same Order Items Both times Orders Wrong and having PC usage issues when operators (two) entered orders. Saturday night. April 2nd. 10:30 p.m. 1 car between us and the one placing the order. 20 minutes later... same scenario. Finally get to speaker and a moni bored female voice wants to know what we want... my husband looks at me like "what the heck?" and places my order... 1 #1 with a large Coke Zero and a small chocolate frostee... immediately, she says "we don't have any frosties"... wait, this is Wendy's, right?!? We get to the window... one's playing on her phone and the others are having a conversation. The mono voice opens the window and states our total, takes my husband's card, and closes the window... no, thank you... nothing. Opens the window... hands my husband my drink and says, "we are out of ice, but it comes out cold." NEGATIVE. It was hot as a coke bottle off the open shelving at the grocery store. Hands my husband the meal and closes the door. My husband had to honk his horn to get a straw and a receipt.

This is the type of service fast food has come to? We don't have a Wendy's in Lavonia or I would have waited, but this restaurant is now on my do...
