If I could get no stars I would’ve 🤬! It was my son’s birthday and he only turned five so we decided to have a dinner at red Robin on Monroe Street. When we were seated, waiter came over and Alex what we would like to drink I noticed, then she was very IMPATIENT! So I ignored the first time. When she returned with our drinks. She then asked where we ready to order My boyfriend was still looking at the menu, so she seemed irritated That’s when I just said, let us get a couple appetizers. Once our appetizers came out they were good. By that time we were ready to order our food. We waited for food to come and once I got there, we begin to eat. My 11-year-old noticed her burger was raw in the middle after already eating it. My boyfriend, being flagged on our waiter and I showed her what she seem to have an attitude about it like it was our fault. She then asked if she wanted a made over and I told her no she does not want a burger now she would like something else. She went on to say that she couldn’t get anything different so I asked for Manager. The manager immediately came over and stated my daughter could get something else. She ordered the waitress to give her a menu in which she did and came right back over to the table. Not even five minutes later rushing my daughter to order. By this time I was already irritated about her food being raw, so I stepped in and told her she wasn’t ready. My daughter then ordered barbecue boneless wings and while we waited, the manager had the waiter bring over a plate of fries for her to eat on. We continued our evening, even after being very disappointed with our service and food. The waiter by the name of Nevaeh that was horrible brought us out our check for over $100. I noticed they only gave us a two dollar discount for my daughter’s burger being raw instead of just giving her a free meal. So I asked her why would you guys only take off two hours? She got a attitude and said I’ll just go get the manager. I told her never mind I’ll just pay for it so we paid and left. I will never ever return to this restaurant again! I’m very disgusted with the service, and the fact that the waiter was not sympathetic at all and my daughter is a child. I really wish I could share the photo of her burger because it...
Read moreWe arrived as a party of 7. The first person we spoke with seemed like it would be difficult to seat us and mentioned having to update their seating chart. While waiting, a second person, clearly more annoyed at either us or her coworker, came out and made it seem like we'd be seated, then had a slightly put off sounding attitude about them being able to find us a table, and again mentioned they need to update their seating chart. I think they should have kept their policy and slightly rude interactions to themselves. The waitress took our drink order, then brought back drinks in phases and the adult drink of mine was dropped off as a kiddie drink without a comment. I had to wait and ask for my full size drink, to which her first response was No... No? Really? Then a quick realization as she probably put a second of thought into it, then conceded and said she'd bring it out. That's not good customer service. Anyway, after that things seemed OK and she had a helper to bring out our orders. Well the fries were basically cold across the board. Like they prepped 7 plates with french fries, then proceeded to cook the burgers for 20 minutes, then put the burgers on the plates and brought it out. That's how fast food goes right? OH wait this isn't fast food. The barely saving grace was that service after that wasn't horrible as we got refills on drinks and a couple refills on fries that actually came out hot, and another salad eventually. So yeah it seems they have policy issues at least. First policy issue is: don't make your policies your customer's problem. Second is: find a way to serve everyone hot food. This is a restaurant, right? We will not return to this Red Robin on Monroe Rd. in Toledo, OH. It's unfortunate, because it's close, but the service was so-so and the...
Read moreRed Robin is a place i don't go to often, because honestly the food there is a hit or miss. But I recently went and here is how my experience went.
Atmosphere and cleanliness: The atmosphere was definitely a style. I thought It was absolutely different and more vibrant than most restaurants. When we were seated, the table and menus were a bit greasy..but it didn't change much. The booths were also really small and kinda tight so it was a little uncomfortable to sit at.
Customer service: the girl that seated us definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there and looked a little exhausted. I felt bad but then she had a bit of a rude attitude towards me and my family so I kinda backed off a little. The girl that was our waitress for the evening was the absolute bomb though. She was so understanding that my family members can be picky and had an amazing amount of patience. She was really sweet and was there when we needed something. I believe her name was Kylie.
Food and Menu: the food was not bad. It was definitely cooked to perfection, but being me it was bland in my opinion. The garlic fries are definitely a must as well as the mozzarella twists. The only bad thing is that they had so much stuff on there menus and had to put there drink options on a second menu which confused me.
Overall, it was a great night with the family with decent food would recommend if your looking for a place to get out...
