My wife and I used to frequent here extremely regularly a decade ago. Was our favorite. We moved too far to pick up so we stopped going.
Getting it for the first time today, we were excited. Unfortunately, we were let down.
My chicken was the driest chicken I've ever had. It's was stringy and tasted old. I cut a piece open and there wasn't any chicken to be found??? So gross. I threw it away. The General Tso sauce was actually really good so that made the dish even more disappointing since it was not edible.
My wife's boneless chicken had little to no taste. Not like she remembered. Fried rice was very mediocre.
Maybe I got a bad batch? I don't know but it definitely ranked very high on the worst take out food...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews but this is unacceptable. There was METAL in my food. I didn’t notice it until I was halfway through my meal, hurt pretty bad when I bit down. From the looks of it I’m guessing it’s from whatever scrubbing tool they use to clean their cookware. How it made its way into my food tells me they lack attention to detail or are too lazy to ensure their cookware is clean before cooking in it. Glad I caught it, I don’t think a sharp, scraggly, metal piece like this would pass naturally - would probably require an ER visit and probably surgery to get it out. A cozy, family-owned atmosphere that makes one feel right at home right away; low-key and calm, also. A huge variety on the menu! The staff has always (literally 100%) been wonderful.
