This here vegan joint's got the heart of the Wild West with a menu that rustles up some of the finest plant-based grub you ever did taste. Walk in, and you’re greeted with a warm, down-home vibe that makes you feel like you’re settlin' in at a friend’s ranch.

The food? Well, it’s a bonafide rodeo of flavors. Their pulled pork tacos is a smoky, tangy masterpiece that will make even the most die-hard carnivore tip their hat in respect. And don’t get me started on their portabella pot roast that will make your taste buds do a two-step.

Now, I reckon some folks might find it mighty peculiar that Callie's shuts its doors on Sundays. In these parts, Sunday’s a day for gatherin' and feastin', so it's a bit of a head-scratcher. But I figure if you plan ahead and mosey on over during the rest of the week, you’ll find yourself a new favorite spot quicker than a jackrabbit after a flying carrot.

I'm new to Tomball and was so happy when I found Callie's Kitchen on Yelp. Callie is sweetheart and her food is delicious as well, she gets a star!

BUT I decided it was best to share my experiences I've had with Callies husband, the rude man that runs the front of the restaurant or sometimes sitting out on the porch with his why are you here type of look on his face!

Guys be prepared because if you ask him a question he will try and ruin your day by his rude response so protect your energy field! My first instinct was that he's racist but from the other reviews he's just a rude man...or both!

A friend of mine told me to come check out Callies kitchen, and specifically try their collard green tacos. I walked in, from the moment that I stepped in I was greeted by a friendly face and she described the dishes that had to go for me. The space is , very warm inviting ,down to earth boho chic. I ordered the collard green tacos, and got a few things to go like their organic jackfruit salad, and their turmeric pasta and some skin juice. I couldn't even wait until I got home, I had to try the tacos in the car and I'm so glad that I did! These tacos were so delicious. You do not miss anything in these tacos.
