So many things about this place has us wondering how they stay in business. Junk stores have their place but this place is beyond your run of the mill junk shop. First, the elderly couple who sit at the counter are not very engaging. Downright unfriendly in fact. This store has quite the footprint. An insane amount of books, but none that I was looking for. A lot of religious books to be had if that's your thing. Everything else in the store was just a mess. Nothing is really presented in a way to find anything. Random disarray best describes it. There are many things piled on top of so much. There very well could be that one amazing find to be had there if you had the time and means to dig through it all. Many display cases that are just overfull. Can't see most of what's in them. And when it comes to prices, they are NOT priced to sell. These folks are collectors not sellers. If they truly wanted to sell their inventory they would present it better and price it reasonably. There's a Lincoln cent book in the case at the counter. I asked to look at it to see what was in it. It had a price of $25 on it. There was nothing of any value in the book at all. Random poor condition cents. The book was not worth the $25. But imagine my surprise when the woman pointed out that the $25 price is PER COIN in the book. They done lost their minds. After spending the time to find my way through the store, I developed a raspy voice and felt dirty. The air in this place is not very healthy. I wonder how the fire marshal feels about this place.
PRO TIP: never buy coins from an antique shop anyway. From my experience, they are extremely overpriced due to the numismatic inexperience of most sellers who primarily...

Baseball cards, dishes, military memorabilia, clocks, toys, artwork, books, computers, games, typewriters, old phones, dolls, knives, swords, comic books and everything else you can possibly imagine from the past.
You literally cannot view it every item in one day. It's an incredible amount of stuff organized in an intricate maze of antiques. I challenge you to not find something that you want.
The owner is a really nice guy. He knows most of what's there and he's willing to hunt with you. He's got some great stories too.
Stop by and...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE this shop! The people who work there are extremely lovely human beings. There are so many things there that remind me of my Grandmother and my Parents. I saw a lot of things that I plan on coming back to get. A lot of things, even if they're from just the mid-1900s, are extremely way better quality than anything you can purchase today (glass kitchenware, anything made of wood, and actual steel...TOOLS). It's also important to support the local economy...I know that the money I spend there is staying right in my community and I'm absolutely...
