We decided to head over to downtown Tomball for dinner tonight. It’s been awhile since we’ve had good Tex Mex, so we went to Cisco’s Salsa Co. It looked very crowded as we noticed a lot of people dining and standing around the outdoor patio. But once we were inside at the hostess stand, wee were seated immediately at a booth. The large number of people and festive and festive atmosphere didn’t slow down the service one hit. Our drinks were served promptly. The frozen margarita was outstanding. The chips and salsa were fresh and very tasty. For dinner, I had the Seafood Enchiladas, which consists of 2 fresh hand rolled tortillas topped grilled shrimp, lobster, & fish, topped with creamy tomatillo sauce, jack cheese, pico, sour cream, & cotija cheese, at a cost of $19.95. Absolutely the best enchiladas I’ve had in a very long time. The sides of black beans and rice was also good. Overall, I find Cisco Salsa Co. to be an excellent choice for TexMex for its fresh tasty food, atmosphere, and excellent service.

This place is over priced for Tex-Mex (my opinion). I ordered the Mango Mahi tacos. They were good but the tortillas fell apart, the cilantro rice was delicious and the roasted corn. The roasted corn was raved by other reviewers, so made wanna try it. The serving of roasted corn I received didn’t taste toasted and the parmesan cheese throws the whole taste. I make this at home in my oven and adding queso fresco, butter, lime juice, and fajita seasoning or tajin; is a better flavor dish (again my opinion). Yes, we make several these dishes in our so when reviewing them I try not to be too harsh since I realize it’s Tex-Mex and not authentic. Not sure if we will be returning. This prices need to be more reasonable. $20 for tacos is not reasonable especially when I get something similar at a different establishment for way cheaper.

Went for a date night with my wife. It was pouring down hard when we got there. The restaurant itself is elevated, so the floor level patio was not ideal during the storm. The upper level patio was just right to storm watch, enjoy chips and salsa, and have a large Texas queso with Baja ground beef! For during a storm the service was incredible! Always kept my Coke refilled. Fresh chips. Checked on us periodically. Even a hostess made sure that we weren’t parked in a flooding area. Wonderful service! The food is good Tex-mex! The atmosphere is where Cisco’s really shines in my opinion. Small town feel, with a wonderful patio that had a one man guitar band live music. Made for a great date night!

My wife and I went out to eat here tonight and it seemed like a fairly decent place with a nice atmosphere. It's in a fairly poor location off the main drag of Tomball. So I don't suspect they will see much traffic unless they advertize heavily and the food is really good. My wife wanted to celebrate landing a new job and suggested it based on the reviews she had seen, but my experience here as quite different.

Waitress seemed rather young and very attentive at first. We placed an order for appetizers and our entrees as well. The waitress never asked if we would like our appetizers first or not, but I assumed that she would know that we would. I was having a lot of sinus problems and cannot smell much because of allergy season, but my wife keep saying she smelled something off like a wet towel that had soured and the odor was quite strong.

The entrees came out pretty quickly, before the appetizers... and I said, "Uh? What about the appetizers?" The guy that ran the food out to our table appeared kind of dumbfounded as if to say; Guy, I don't know what you're talking about. I just told him not worry about it and cancel them from the order. But about 3 minutes later boom, here came my appetizer but not my wife's appetizer. I was starting to get a little irritated at this point and told him again, "No! I don't want it. Please just take it back and take it off the bill." I had a burrito and the food did appear quite good visually. I hardly got a few bites of the sautéed vegetables in when my wife completely rejected her plate of enchiladas, because the shredded meat had a strange texture to it, with a sauce that did not appeal to her at all; when all she really hoped for was some old school enchiladas. I was starting to get pretty frustrated with my experience here, but encouraged my wife to order something else. However she was so turned off by the foul odors, the waitress's inability to get our appetizers out correctly, and now an enchilada with some mystery meat in it. The manager came over and tried to find out what the problems where, but clearly seemed to care less about the distasteful experience we were having. I do not feel right to sit there and eat without my wife in what was supposed to be a joyous occasion. So, I got my burrito to go... I am eating now as I write this and while it probably would have been better eaten there. It is nothing to woo about. Maybe I am a bit critical because of my own industry experience in managing and operating a restaurant. But I believe that it is pretty simple to follow a sequence of courses whether the food is good or not; and when it isn't, it falls to the manager to show a bit more concern and compassion to your patrons.

Given this place's location and the experience I had there I do not foresee them being in business for very long. When it clearly appears that whoever owns this restaurant has dumped a lot of money into it and set about to make a very promising venture. I wish them luck, but from my wife's prospective she never...

We used to love coming here. The food hasn’t been as good recently, the service on the patio is the slowest ever, it took 20 minutes to order drinks at 5 pm yesterday. There’s one older server who is RUDEEEEEEE every time we have him.

But my largest grievance is the lack of care for young families. Last month we went for lunch and asked for a high chair to set my infants carrier on while we ate. We were told that it was unsafe to do that and we could set it on a chair. That’s entirely less secure and we were sitting outside on the lime green plastic chairs. We ended up just setting her on the table. The poor hostesses have to give info from a manager who hides in his little train car instead of speaking to customers. When we went last night around 5 pm, we sat on the patio and this time brought her stroller in to not have to deal with it. At the beginning of our meal, I realized she needed a diaper change. I went to the women’s restroom and there isn’t a changing table. My husband had said there wasn’t one in the men’s either. I asked a hostess where I could do this and she said they didn’t have anywhere. Once again, the manager hid in his office when she went to ask him my question. I had half a mind to change her diaper on the table since they don’t care. I instead did it in the back of my car on the street while cars passed around us. While eating, I counted 6 children that were diaper age on the patio. That’s 6 kids that could have needed somewhere to be changed. There is plenty of room to put a folding changing table behind the door in the women’s restroom. You obviously don’t care about upkeep on your building with the soft wood decking on the upper patio, the mildew smell in the restrooms, and the overall dinginess of the restroom. Extremely disappointed in what was our favorite Mexican...

First, Was "Told" I could only stay for 90 mins. And if i wanted to stay longer, they pointed to the Side Walk and was told i can hangout there

Secondly, this place is called Salsa Company. When this is your name, you need to live up to it....

Third, the sweet tea is like PopEyes sweet Tea... a little tea and water with their sugar.

Finally my food was sat down on someone elses table as these other customers breathe and leaned over it, they told the server its not theirs and the server then picked up back up off their table and brought it to me as i told him thats my food. The server then say it down at my table. I told the waiter who took our order thia food was placed ar another table for a moment before being placed at my table. (This is during the Hight of thw Covid Pandemic). My server took the food and apologized for this.

In my entire experience this really took care of me amd is the only reason this review isnt full of hate.

The manager came out when my new food was ready and asked me "Is everything okay"? I literally just got the food... I haven't even smelled the food yet. I told her, i have no clue, it just got here. She was all "Okay" turned around and walkes away.

I cant tell you how amazing the server was. He made sure everything we asked for was taken care of. And was on his game with making sure dirty plates and refills of tea.

The Manager did comp part of the meal.

Food lacked flavor salsa was meh-okay.

Atmosphere was incredible.

I dont know if I will return. I am ruined by placed like Uncle Julios and...
