Wingstop — Restaurant in Tooele

I don’t even know where to start with how bad my experience at Wingstop was but I’ll try.

Let’s start with the food: completely unacceptable. The chicken tenders were not only unseasoned, but also bland and rubbery, like they were pulled out of a freezer and thrown straight into a fryer with no care at all. And to make matters worse, the wings I got were raw in the middle. Not slightly undercooked raw. I cut into one and immediately noticed the pink, slimy center. That’s not just gross, that’s a serious health hazard. Serving undercooked poultry is beyond careless.

As if the food wasn’t bad enough, the atmosphere was terrible. The place was messy, loud in the worst way, and smelled more like burnt oil than actual food. It didn’t feel clean or welcoming at all.

Then came the waiting time which was nearly 45 minutes for a simple order of wings and tenders. There were barely any other customers there, so I have no idea what the hold-up was. When I finally got my food (only to discover it was practically inedible), I asked to speak with someone about it.

That’s when I encountered the rudest manager I’ve dealt with in a long time. Instead of apologizing or offering any kind of solution, they were dismissive, sarcastic, and basically made it clear they didn’t care. No professionalism, no accountability just attitude.

I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but this experience was so bad it felt necessary. I will absolutely never be coming back, and I’d seriously warn anyone thinking about going to this location to reconsider. There are too many better, safer, more respectful...

I dont like give such a bad review, maybe my experience was a one off in the place at the wrong time kinda deal

Unfortunately i had high hopes and was really excited for this restaurant but it is by far the worst wings I have ever had i could not believe how bad this was especially for a new restaurant in town not only were the wings just aweful the person at the register very clearly didnt want to be there

The wings I got were not only burnt and over cooked you could tell they had sat there for sometime before they just poured sauce on a couple wings in the box that and the sauce also had that weird stired up jellow look and texture as if it had also sat out and was drying out and hardening

I did a pick up order and i showed up just before the estimated time to get my food at least somewhat fresh and wanting to not let it sit for to long i anticipated a new restaurant to be at least some what busy but it wasnt all that busy I was maybe the 3rd person waiting in line the other customers were significantly better to talk to

It was like a really low quality fast food place that specifally does really bad chicken and with the limited seating (i do understand the building choices were not to big ti begin with but i felt they dont want people to sit down eat there just grab and go and like my experience by the time you get home and realize how bad your food is you end up tossing the food and vowing to not go back

Surprised we didnt get sick from the couple Bits we had go to Applebee's or even drive to Salt Lake by the time you get back your food would still be better...

We decided to try it since we've never had it and they're new to the area. My husband had wings with BBQ. The sauce is kind of strong and tasted better dipped in ranch. I did a chicken sandwich with the lemon pepper sauce. The bun was inedible. It was really dry and hard almost like a crouton. The chicken seemed dry and overcooked. Not a fan of that sauce either. The crispy strips we got my daughter were good. Just plain and she dipped them in honey mustard. We got the fries with the cheese and ranch. They were soggy and not crispy at all as if they weren't fully cooked. Not sure how they're supposed to be since we've never been to a Wingstop before. They tasted good but soggy fries are no good. Would have been amazing if they were crispy. It was $30 for the 3 of us. I probably will not be back anytime soon. Not sure if this is normal or just the growing pains from being new. May try again in the future when it's not so new. Would have probably taken some things back but we live far enough from the location we didn't want to have to drive the 10 min back to get food fixed. It was also very busy and we got our food about 10 min after the quoted pick up time which would have made the wait...
