Hardee’s — Restaurant in Topeka

I went through the drive thru 3 times and picked up 2 orders. The first initial time they only gave me half my food, I wasn't too bothered cause things happen and they're busy. When I went back to get it they forgot an order of fries, I was a little annoyed but I wasn't going to go back because I had already been there and back home twice now. Then as I was sitting down to eat my food finally I realized that they gave me the wrong kind of sandwich. Now the only reason I picked Hardees was to get the Hot Honey chicken sandwich and now I've been there twice and everything was wrong and I was so mad. I called and talked to a manager and they offered to replace both of my orders which okay thanks it's the least you could do, but then I had to go back a 3rd time to buy a single honey chicken sandwich so I could eat because I wasn't going to pick up everyone else's food again that night cause I was the only one who hadn't eaten at that point..... so yeah 2 stars. So, I like their burgers here for the most part, but I just tried their spicy honey chicken sandwich. I asked them what came on it. One of the things on it was Swiss cheese, and I don't like Swiss so I asked if they could substitute it for American cheese. They said they could. The sandwich was ok, but part of the chicken had no flavor and felt like biting into rubber. Then I looked at the receipt to find that they charged me for the cheese. I spoke to the manager and she said that was the way they do it there. I asked her that if someone came in and didn't like sesame seeds you would charge them to substitute the bun? She said yes. Had an amazing experience at the Hardee’s on 6th & MacVicar. Evelyn and Paris took care of us, and their service was top-notch—genuinely friendly, not the kind of fake friendliness you sometimes get. You could tell they actually cared about providing a great experience.

The food was delicious, fresh, and exactly what we expected. Too often, you see employees at other places bickering or acting like they don’t want to be there, but this location was the complete opposite. The atmosphere was great, and it made our visit that much better.

I believe it’s important to recognize employees who go above and beyond, and Evelyn and Paris definitely did. If management sees this, these two deserve some serious appreciation!
