I NEVER leave a poor review unless the experience is particularly bad. I realize that there are shortages of supplies and of people who are willing to work. I ordered online and was tracking the progress. The app told me to come in to get the order at the window. When I get to the drive through to pick it up there was a truck at the window that had been waiting. The person in front of me was outside of their vehicle knocking on the window. The person inside said they were "out of chicken". They appeared to be the only one there. Then a Door Dash driver pulled up to pick up someone else's online order. They were told that there was no chicken as well. I had driven all the way down from North of Topeka because the one on N Topeka Blvd showed as closed online, even though it was 45 minutes before their hours showed online. I remember Kentucky Fried Chicken being one of my favorite places in the 1980s when I was little. But I struggle to enjoy them lately. But the discrepancy between the online posted hours and when they are actually closing is unacceptable. And that also leaves them open to repeatedly do the same thing to other people since they are closing early but their web order system still goes by the posted hours. And I don't think they were out of chicken. I think the person got tired of doing everything by themselves and cleaned up to go home early. I hope they fix this or perhaps pass on the "secret recipe" to someone who can run the business well. Hopefully this post and others will help them make it better. I gave 3 stars because 1 star reviews can devastate their Google reputation but there is definitely room for...

I've been an occasional customer of KFC - not specifically this one, just in general - for 10+ years. My first job was at a KFC. Do you know what comes with just about every menu item? Biscuits. Do you know what you have to PULL TEETH to get? Sauces in general - which is a whole other story - but HONEY specifically.
NO ONE wants a plain biscuit. KFC, you are WASTING the biscuits you make if you do not give out honey or butter as well. If you don't want to give out honey, don't bother including a biscuit. Or do what "certain other" chains do, and honey them up before you give them out.
If the order comes with biscuits, there should be honey in the bag. If the customer specifically requests honey, then there NEEDS to be honey in the bag. If I request KFC sauce, hot sauce, and honey, I don't want to open my bag to see 2 kfc sauces, 8+ hot sauces, and zero honey.
Hot sauce doesn't go on biscuits. Stop being weird. No one wants a dry biscuit, no one wants a spicy biscuit. The only reason any of your customers ever fail to request honey is because they naively think they'll get some included with their biscuits.
Again, this goes for ALL BRANCHES OF KFC. ALL LOCATIONS. Stop wasting your biscuits if you're too stingy to give out cheap "11% real honey" honey...
