Asia Market — Local services in Topeka

It's a small store, but they offer a great selection and they update it weekly. I always try something new when I come here. They have fresh produce and frozen foods at reasonable prices. I love the selection of mushrooms they have. And, of course, they offer tons of snacks and instant noodles! Everything is well organized.

I often come on Sundays because they get a variety of fresh bread delivered from a bakery in Kansas City, if I remember correctly, and it's great! The onion bread is my favorite, and a close second is probably the one that is dusted with coconut and filled with sweet cream.

Most of their stock looks to be from China, Korea, and Japan, but they do a good job of offering a variety of treats from other countries, like Filipino style spaghetti sauce, Mama instant noodles from Thailand, and Kopiko instant coffee from Indonesia, just to name a few. The people who work there are very nice. I like getting G7 Vietnamese instant coffee and Indofood Bumbu Racik Nasi Goreng Instant Seasoning for Fried Rice, both of which are very good. I also like trying the different Asian foods and sweets they have. Ever since I spent time in Asian countries for work years ago, I find myself missing the food and this is the best place locally to find some of it.
