McDonald's — Restaurant in Topeka

I drove cross town because the mf Donald’s on my side of town was closed. Got there; waited literally 30-40 mins in line. All I wanted was fresh French fries. I was thinking since I waited 40 mins in line my fries would automatically be fresh but when I got to the window and advised the cashier my fries were cold and stale she stated “we don’t have time to make them fresh, you have to drive back around and order them fresh” like wait what? I don’t understand. Aren’t you supposed to be making sure that people food is fresh or no? That girl had very poor customer service. Very poor. And didn’t make the first sense by saying we don’t have time to cook them fresh. So you mean to tell me y’all just serving people old food? Because that’s exactly what I got. Old fries. No sorry. No pull up let me drop some. Just simply we don’t have time to make them fresh and nothing more. Very poor customer service. I highly advise to either visit this place in the day when management is available and don’t mind making your food fresh OR don’t go here at all. Meaning avoid this Location...

This Mcdonald's has been recently rebuilt so expect the facilities to be brand new. I would express concern over the drive through. It has some additions that make it kind of confusing. But I will say that I haven't had any problems. Nothing really to write about the food because Mcdonald's has a standard that is usually upheld. I'll state that Mcdonald's is the top tier in fast food and that is with a small group of other fast food restaurants. The four star review is simply because this location will mess up specialty orders. So, you want a Big Mac without ketchup and with mayo. Probably half the time the Big Mac will have ketchup and mayo which is disgusting in my opinion. With that being said, I'd evaluate that problem and decide whether you want a regular Big Mac or take the chance with the wrong order slip. I can't comment the replacement service they provide on this mix up. If I'm eating McDonald's, I'm starving and will just eat the hamburger and always enjoy it. I went in for lunch with a coworker and we took it with us on the bus because we had a route to do. That's when I realized I left my cell phone so I used my coworkers phone and called McDonalds and the manager answered and I told him what happened and he said the 2 ladies working the cash registers picked it up as soon as I left and I told him it would be a couple hours before I could return to get it and he assured me that he would keep it safe for me until whenever I return. When I returned I walked through the door and it was during the noon hour but immediately I see the manager walking from his office towards me with my phone in his hand and I am very grateful for the manager and employees at McDonalds for their honesty, I really, really appreciate them.
