This was hands-down the worst Dave & Buster’s experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve visited multiple locations across California and the Midwest.
From the moment we walked in, it was chaos. Despite having three employees (including a manager) at the entrance, there was only one line open for token purchases, resulting in a long, frustrating wait. After getting tickets for my daughter, my father and I set out to secure a table—but that’s when things really unraveled.
There was no clear system or designated spot to request a table. Employees were running around like headless chickens, narrowly avoiding collisions while carrying food and drinks. Despite being visibly overstaffed, no one seemed available to help. After wandering for 15-20 minutes (while 7 months pregnant), my dad finally flagged someone down, who told us to just grab one of the dirty tables stacked with dishes and wait for it to be cleaned.
When the busser finally arrived, she sprayed crumbs and dirty water all over me while wiping the table. Though she apologized, it was beyond unprofessional. By then, we’d already spent 20 minutes just trying to sit down.
Next came the waiting game for service. It took 10 more minutes before our server, Nate, showed up. It seemed like he was either new or completely unprepared for the job. Taking our order felt like a struggle for him, and once the food arrived—after another lengthy wait—it was literally dropped on the table with no plates, silverware, napkins, or even water. We had to repeatedly get up to ask for basic things like napkins and plates. When Nate finally brought plates, he only brought two for a table of four.
The cherry on top? Trying to pay the bill. We waited a full 30 minutes, watching Nate stand around at the bar pass, clearly avoiding us. My fiancé had to physically go tell him we wanted to pay, and even then, Nate stopped multiple times to do other things before finally coming over.
The service was beyond horrible—disorganized, inattentive, and downright shameful. I spent more time dealing with the hassle of poor service than enjoying the experience with my family. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different...

Well I went the day before I was getting charged 5.50 per drink. So me and my wife had ordered 2 drinks each the price was fine then we came back order three more Leaving the tab open. We came back decide to get a table to order food and more drinks but had to close out the tab due to the fact it was an open tab at the bar. So we closed it out left a tip to make it 22.00 and started a new tab our waitress was Jazmin L . We ordered 4 drinks from happy hour menu plus loaded fries and fried pickles and a shot of patron. The drinks should have been 5 dollars each pickles 5 and the patron shot 5. When she brought the tab the first time the total was $80.00 which is not bad but not if it’s happy hour we brought it to her attention she replied saying she thought it was Thursday(which it was and happy hour is Thursday) so she brought the tab back for $53.32 which was still over charged and I had brought it to her attention then she said oh sorry and brought the tab back once again with a corrected amount of $48.94 I payed my tab and she had security tells us it was time to go when I asked if I could finish my drink he said no you got to go yet he allowed another couple to finish their drinks. Jazmin L and your staff thought I was Inebriated to the point where I would not notice them STEALING $30.00 + dollars from me this is unacceptable. If they tried this with me I wonder how much money they have stolen from Inebriated clients. On top of that staff was laughing when she mentioned it to them which makes me come to the conclusion that all your staff STEALS from clients at the bar. This is unacceptable to steal from clients i will attach pictures of the receipts(excluding the 80.00 tab which they took and threw away) this is unacceptable. Thieves at your establishment. Who ever goes to the bar and drinks on happy hour check your tabs you probably are getting money...
Read moreHorrible customer service they just seem to be hiring anyone cause they absolutely don’t know how to do their job at all and a simple obstacle that goes their way and now they want to act blind to it and would rather not help you or so it had ended up going up to managers in order just to redeem my tickets since it got locked and we waited 40 mins just for that and for the food we had redeemed our tickets also for food and got the food coupons so we had tried to get them redeemed and we went to the dining area and 2 black workers at the register didn’t want to help me at all even tho I was waiting there and even said hello like she just turned a blind eye and the other also did and i tried to give them the food coupons and asked like if they take them in here and she got her lil group of friends/coworkers and she showed them it and they kinda started laughing about it and i overheard them say “i’ve never seen anyone use these i wonder wtf he pulled this from” and they all started laughing so it shows to me that they racially discriminated me cause with their own race they had no problem helping them out until me and some other races tried getting serviced and i noticed they struggled as well but a nice hispanic worker assisted me instead and told me i had to go to the front register nearby to redeem them so I did but there was a huge line and the manager by the door could tell I was upset already and she asked what i needed help with since she saw I had the food coupons in my hand and the receipt and i told her everything and she grabbed my food coupons and receipt and skipped the line for me and got everything handled with and got my food so shout out to her since she’s the only one to be great and helpful and had helped a lil with that awful service. Will recommend going to the location in long beach instead since they have way better service and non of the workers will act sloppy nor judge you...
