The first thing that happened when we entered the restaurant was that we were greeted by a very lovely set of staff who were more than happy to have a chat about what was best to order and how their restaurant works. We ended up getting two orders of the pork belly banh mi sandwiches because one of the employees said that it was a crowd favorite.
We then sat ourselves after placing the order, when a member of staff came by with our food.
The taste was amazing. The sauces and picked vegetables were all fresh and flavorful and the pork was cooked to perfection.
Update: The company responded to my comment about the portion sizes being small and handled it in the best way possible. They went above and beyond expectations in that they discussed their shortcomings with the staff at the location. The agent on the other end of the line was truly remorseful and expressed that my feelings were justified.
When we came back with our vouchers, we saw that the portions sizes did truly increase. With a reasonable price, great taste, nice staff, and now, amazing portion sizes, this restaurant has quickly risen in my book as one of the best there is in the area.
I have never been left so astonished and mesmerized by the way any company has responded to criticism. I wish all the best for...
Read moreNot all that. Similar to panera bread steak except a bit on the thick side. Two sandwiches, one with avocado added~ about 34 dollars. Don't add the avocado, it's not sliced avocado. It's guacamole style and you barely get any. It was smeared onto the bread which weighed the bread down and made the sandwich more soggy. Didn't help that the romaine lettuce was already wilting from it's shelf life. The only thing Peruvian about the Peruvian sandwich was the aji amarillo. Don't order it. If you want peruvian you need to order from a peruvian restaurant. The service was fast for two steak sandwiches. A +, great. However, it wasn't busy, it was raining, and it's pricey. We returned in under 8 minutes. The gentleman who took our orders handed us our bag with a smile. When we opened our orders..the chimichurri sandwich was not on the a ciabatta bread as the young man recommended and hyped it up to be. The worst part is the lack of bacon. At least it was toasted to help prevent the sogging. I wouldn't come back unless someone else really wanted...
Read moreI'm going to chalk a few things up to they just opened and are ironing out their kinks, so still 5 stars because the service was great and food was excellent.
There seemed to be a lot of people working behind the counter. One gal was greeted us as we entered and tried to strike up a conversation like have we been to a Mendocino Farms before...etc. I could not understand what she was saying beyond that because it was just too noisy with all the employees, talking in the background and all the tile in the front section made all the noise seem louder because there was no noise dampening in the front section. As we left after lunch we noticed the greeter outside talking to the people, which made it easier to hear, I'm sure.
Cahier was friendly, however, he learned that you can to half and half for sides after telling me they couldn't. I mentioned they have at other locations. Wanted to pay with app, but for whatever reason, he couldn't do it.
Overall, still great food, I know people are still learning and...
