Today is Thursday. I spoke with Samantha on Monday @ 9:30am December 12, 2022, she asked me to come in for an interview on Thursday @ 1:00pm, December 15, 2022. Samantha warned me that there is only a little parking available, and I should call from the parking lot and ask for her or Lindsey.
Thursday comes and I drive 45 minutes in traffic and another 20 minutes on the off ramp alone with all the construction going on. I call from the parking lot and spoke with Lindsey... Lindsey said that I did NOT!! have an interview with her nor with Samantha and that her location was NOT!! hiring and has NOT!! been hiring for months. Then hung up on me.
Great.
I called back and Samantha answered after 7 rings. Samantha is totally confused and is speaking in circles. Defending Lindsey's behavior, but not defending Lindsey's behavior. I told her that I choose her location because I felt that it was the best managed (WOW, was I wrong!) I told her that my family member was her territory manager and right then and there her attitude changed. Like night and day. She then apologized and asked if I would like for her to set up an interview at a later time... Or maybe I wanted to set up an interview for tomorrow, after I am feeling better (WHAT? OMG!). Samantha continued to apologize.
THOSE WOMEN ARE CRAZY!
Why would I want to work with people like that? The employees accept the behavior of their managers. Samantha and Lindsey both are manipulators!
Managers are supposed to set an example for their employees. I believe managers SHOULD be kind, honest, professional and always treat their employees with respect. NOT manipulation.
Guess I dodged a bullet there...

Read moreI'm updating my review to 5 stars. Other than my place of work, this is the business I literally frequent in the most - to the point where they probably have some sort of derogatory nickname for me by now, in secret.
By proximity, it's been the most convenient place for me to relax in between shifts, to get computer/art stuff done, and my caffeine fueling spot. I would rather get all that done here, because their coffee is better than what Starbucks make in-store and I've semi-boycotted Starbucks for their goofy social stances.
The rewards program they have? Icing in this cake, I'm so glad I listened this one time and got the app. It's more convenient to pay with it, and the free beverages I've had throughout is quite substantial. I'm a star using those free beverage bonus to buy a fancy little frappuccino for someone.
The regular people I see working there? I like them. I'm not sure if they feel the same likewise, but they're a welcome familiar sight by now. I expect things to go smoothly when they're at the helm and their great service. In the rare occasion they mess up, I'm more than adequately compensated for it.
A huge pet peeve of mine is if some newbie messes up my name. I almost want to change my name on the app, because I get a surge of irrational rage if someone calls my by some female name and not apologize for it. I know it's some cutoff in their monitor display being unable to display "Christian" in full, but that's why I said it's irrational.
