I'm a platinum dasher with 4.98 rating. I went to pick up an order due at 5:32pm. It went past the time and there were a lot of people waiting. It took 7 minutes for an employee to approach me. I told him the name of the client. He said it's not ready yet but gave me Their drink. I asked how long he thinks until it's ready (just so I knew if I was going to cancel the order so I don't get a late delivery contract breach). He started explaining to me Their businesses employment related issues such as people calling out. I said calmly that it's ok I don't need to know any of that I just wanted to know how long he thinks it will take. He told me not to give him attitude and started explaining again that they are understaffed and that they are backed up. I stated for him to not give me attitude I just needed to know the time or an estimate not everything else. Another employee approached with my clients meal and he gave it to me and said oh here it is don't return again. All he had to do was check on the status of the order. As I left the store he told another dasher how long Their wait time is. I stated as leaving, wow so you can tell them but not me. I am autistic. My voice is monotone and how am I going to be treated like this, just because I was curious on the status so I can decide my decision on the order or update the customer. Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE! I waited an hour and 10 minutes all together for 2 entrees. A employee tells me I can have a refund so I go to my car to get my card. As I get back inside the managers tell me no refund. As a restaurant manager at a different chain, I can proudly say that this restaurant is a complete joke. Everyone has issues with the horrible management there, I’ve gone in wearing my uniform in the past and their employees have asked me if IM HIRING AT MY STORE. Every manager in that store should have been fired long ago… I called corporate customer service but they’re a waste of time as well. Every time the food is cold we’ve been hard one time where the biscuits were so cold we couldn’t even bite into them we had to throw them out. So the first time we let it slide the second time we thought well maybe it was just the day but now the third Time it’s definitely this particular store. The chicken today was over cooked so dry you couldn’t chew into it and it was cold. And my husband bought it at 5 o’clock which is normal dinner time. So unfortunately I can’t give you a good review and we will not be eating at the TorringtonBranch ever again.
