The Donut Station — Restaurant in Torrington

There is not just donuts at The Donut Station. Great first experience here. I have been wanting to try the donuts here for a few months after hearing about them on restaurant.com. We had to go to Social Security office in Torrington, The Donut Station is a few minutes away. When the opportunity presents itself, go for it. Lots of great donut selections. I loved the chocolate frosted and glazed. I had a small bite of the blueberry which is very good also.

They also have some delicious egg sandwiches. I got the bacon egg and cheese on a roll which was good. I tried a bite of my daughter’s sausage egg and cheese on a croissant, sadly it was better than mine. I chose wrong this day. Plenty of drink options, including coffee which some have raved about. I didn’t try the coffee so I cannot give an opinion. You can take out, sit inside at a booth, or go to the drive-through. Later in the day they discount the donuts. Normally my go to cute coffee shop but staff member Mary was super rude while I was ordering. I do get orders can be confusing but no need to have attitude and be rude about it. When I received my order both of my guests coffees did not have the pumpkin spice syrup I had asked for which was disappointing. I will reach out to the manager just to let her know as the coffee order really isn’t a big deal mistakes happen. It was Mary’s apparent attitude just answering the drive thru. The rest of the staff here is super awesome. I usually get coffee here 3x during the week and maybe once on the weekend. This is a great little donut store with top-notch service. I'm not a coffee drinker but I'm told the coffee is great here and I know the donuts are pretty good. Donuts are better than any chain store I can think of, but they are not as good as a little place north east of here in Massachusetts so I can't give it a 5... I think of 4. 5 would be actually the best rating. I have seen some of the breakfast sandwiches and they look really good but I haven't tried one yet, hopefully I will try one soon.
