HIBACHI EXPRESS INC — Restaurant in Torrington

Im giving 5 stars cause this place is worthy. If you are a serious hibachi nut this is one place youre going to want to put on your bucket list... it may be hidden in the most random part of torrington but the food will make you think youve just arrived in another dimension. I usually get the rice, chicken and shrimp.. and a side of spicy mayo for dipping.. their spicy mayo is liquid gold.. the foods always cooked perfect.. I really dont want to leave a good review cause then ill have to wait longer for my food when people visit.. but you can share Mary......

Ehhh overall: not in the slightest but was kinda expected judging the cover of this particular novella.

Hoping for fast casual japanese along the lines you find in most mall food courts but instead what I was served was some really midsy chinese style bamboozlery.

That was not hibachi style and the sauce was definitely thickened w/corn starch....and the eggroll left much to be desired.

This your basic burbs takeout spot just don't go expecting...

Best sushi in Torrington and I would go so far as to say, best within 45 mins of the area in all directions that I am aware of. It is family owned by a Hibachi artist, his amazingly sweet wife, and their growing son. I have a sensitive stomach and WILL get sick if something is off.
