Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Town and Country

I got a delicious cake from them for my birthday and thought it was a great idea to get one for Christmas day to share with my family. I ordered it on the phone and paid for it too. I was supposed to pick it up on Christmas Eve at noon and the girl told me they were closing at 2pm. Well It totally slipped my mind on Christmas Eve and remembered at 3:30. Of course they were closed. Yes it was my fault for forgetting. It would of been common courtesy to call me at least at 1:30 knowing I had already paid for it and wanted it for Christmas. They obviously do not care about their customers. They walked out of that shop knowing their was pre-paid cake sitting on their shelve. They give no refunds or store credit period. All SALES ARE FINAL! I have never been in the store so I have never seen their signs. I do not care about the excuse that they were busy, they should of called and go above and beyond for their customers. Most bakeries will do that. They have delicious stuff, I can guarantee that BUT DO NOT PRE PAY FOR YOUR CAKE!!! I’m visiting from Mexico City and was attending a birthday party from a friend who had tried this cakes before so we went to the store to get one. OMG this is definitely one of the very best cakes I’ve ever tried. And I travel a lot so believe me when I say I’ve tried cakes pretty much all over the world since I’ve got such a sweet tooth. I tried the raspberry in store as they were giving samples out and it was so good. Super moist and just the amount of sweet. It would pretty much dissolve in your mouth the consistency was amazing. Then we got the big chocolate one for the party and a small confetti one to try since I love everything birthday cake style. The chocolate one was just as amazing and the contrast between the chocolate and the frosting worked perfectly. The confetti one was my favorite and I can’t wait to eat it again. I recently visited Nothing Bundt Cakes and was extremely disappointed and disgusted by my experience. While I was there, I saw roaches and other bugs crawling in the bakery area. This is completely unacceptable for any food establishment, especially one that is supposed to specialize in high-quality cakes. The sight of these pests made me question the cleanliness and safety of the entire operation. I cannot imagine how such an establishment could pass any health inspection with these conditions. It's a shame because I had heard good things about their cakes, but I will not be returning after witnessing this. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this serious issue, but as for me, I won't be giving them another chance.
