I can't say enough about The Country Club. From the moment you walk in the door you feel at home. It's a comfortable, cozy atmosphere that is welcoming for all types... from gathering around the fireplace in the fall or an evening on the patio for a quick lunch with coworkers, happy hour or even date night...you can't go wrong. Service is always attentive and timely. Cocktails are delicious and they have a great selection of bottled and draught beer. I ordered the double smash burger and my wife ordered the fish tacos. Best in St. Louis We were pleasantly surprised to hear the bread used in house was from a local bakery, Vitale's. It's neat to see local family owned businesses working together. I will be back, I would recommend The Country Club and I look forward to supporting local.

Cozy pub with very good food and the best pint of Guinness you can find in STL (I’m a former Dubliner picky of my Guinness). So far everything I’ve tried on the menu, including a few specials, has been excellent! Service is always very friendly, even when the place gets pretty busy. Food comes out quickly and always very fresh. I love the salmon sandwich and the bacon wrapped shrimp! On Saturday nights they have live music from Chris who knows how to put on a show! He sounds great and plays all the songs you know and love. Overall Country Club is a nice neighbourhood pub with good food, good service, and an excellent pint of Guinness! I’m quickly

November 2021- I've Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and good food it's hard to ask for much more during lunch. If you are in the area this is a hidden gem you should definitely check out. 5/29/19 update: Let's go Blues Burger..... this thing needs to make it's way onto the menu permanently. Great flavors! Perfectly cooked and a great presentation. Plus the cheese melts off the burger and onto your fries. I personally love cheese fries. All in all - Damn! Great burger.

Very cozy bar and grill. Great food choices as well as a good selection at the bar Great little bar and grill. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. It has plenty of dark wood elements with warm yet dim lighting. The space is somewhat small, but not too cramped. The menu has a decent variety of foods you would expect from a bar and grill - grilled or fried sandwiches, burgers, and salads. The food is good - nothing super special, but delicious nonetheless. Portions are somewhat on the larger side. They do offer kids meals with the usual suspects - hot dogs, burgers, chicken strips - but also offer T-Ravs. I had the One Eyed Burger with broccoli instead of fries. The broccoli isn't seasoned or buttered, and is best described as "just broccoli." Good option for those looking a save a few calories in their choices. The burger was quite enjoyable - an egg fried over-medium with chipotle aoli over a burger. Only caution is that it isn't easy to eat without making a mess or using a fork and knife. The bar had a good selection - fairly standard expectations of a bar. Service was ok - it was a bit busy, but I would say it was acceptable. Overall, a great place to meet up with friends or date night. It's a decent choice for...

This is the first time I have ever written a review like this. I went here for lunch with my coworkers and was really excited. The menu looked fantastic and the service is good but what made me upset was the portioning of the food. I was honestly shocked to have received 4 small asparagus strings as a side which I was up charged for. The salmon sandwich I got was under-portioned as well (close to 4oz and a single piece of bacon on top). This is what I received for 20 dollars and I would dare to say it wouldn’t fill up a small child. I know this review really will have no impact but I feel as if the owner robbed me and left a bad taste in my mouth. If they are looking for return customers I would suggest they work on the portion to price ratio. It is a bar and grill for Christ sake not a 5 star steakhouse. It was just the most bizarre thing ever and I was extremely upset over it. I tipped the waitress 10 dollars because she was nice and seemed to understand how silly it was when I asked her about the portion size. Don’t waste...

We USED to come here regularly. Good food and always good service. Cozy, neighborhood ambiance.

I guess business is good because we can no longer get in. We have tried numerous times recently and the wait is consistently about 45 minutes. We have tried to make reservations but there are none available for a Saturday when we call on a Friday. I know we could call earlier in the week for a Saturday reservation but this is the kind of place you go to grab a burger or dinner. It’s not the type of place I plan to go to days in advance.

NOTE: We decided to wait the 45 minutes and there were SEVEN empty tables (out of about 15 total tables) held for reservations. They could have seated those tables and turned them in the time we were waiting.

While waiting at the bar, we were asked to move because they had a reservation seating at the bar. Once we actually got a table, our food was delicious and our...
