The staff was very nice and the customer lounge was well kempt and tidy. Our drinks and snacks were delivered promptly and the staff made genuine small talk despite being pretty busy, which is why I'm giving them the extra star. Starbucks is almost always four stars, but when the staff goes the extra mile to be kind and engage with you to make the environment feel lose and relaxed (despite being quite busy) that is when they deserve the extra star.
The bar has bag/ purse hooks, power outlets, and USB ports for charging devices, the bathrooms are tidy, and the garbages are kept up with nicely.
From my visits to the drive in, they have been prompt and efficient, and even jovial over the mic/speaker exchange.
It's also nice to go to a coffee shop and not feel neglected because the staff is trying to keep drive through times down. Read moreI go to starbucks often and this location is by far the worst location in Buffalo. I have been to this location multiple times because of convenience. It's the closest starbucks to UB South Campus. I had dinner within walking distance and thought "shouldn't be that bad to study there since it's past dinner." Well I was WRONG. The music was so loud that I had my laptop on max volume with noise reducing over-ear headphones. I could not hear through the loud music and had to ask the barista to please turn the music down after my friend and I both thought the music was too loud. Second, the drinks here do not taste as good as other locations. I ordered a Chai latte and the one I bought at Dunkin Donuts tasted much better and I RARELY go to DD. Read moreOne of the biggest reasons I stopped going to Tim Hortons and started going to Starbucks is because they always seemed to make my drinks right without any hassle. I only really get anything when I'm at work, so I don't want to go through having to mix my drink because the sugar or syrup is all the way at the bottom.
The past couple weeks though, my drink has rarely been mixed well at all. Whenever I asked for someone to mix it, I was either told they would have to make a whole new drink which is a waste, or I was given a straw to mix it. What? I understand the pandemic is going on right now and everyone is on edge, but if you made the drink, you can take it back and just mix it. It's frustrating paying a premium for something that isn't what I actually ordered. Multiple times. Please start mixing drinks properly....
