Tried this place out and I have a dairy allergy... I noticed that the cheese and sauces aren't kept away from the vegetables and has a high possibility for cross contamination. I asked them to used a new batch for my allergies. They declined. They tried to dig from the bottom which was nice but that's not how cross contamination with allergies works... Also I saw on the website the baklava is dairy free but it turns out that's not the case as I reacted to it and when we called we found out there's butter (a dairy product) in it. Ok I'll roll with it. I tried to call the corporate location to politely inform them of the situation to prevent future problems. Instead the phone was picked up, set on the counter they said hello 2x and just set me down on the counter. When I tried to get someone on the phone to take 1-2mins just to listen to what I had to say I could here the crew helping people and talking about me amongst themselves that I needed to SHUT UP after waiting for 15mins on the phone of terrible service!!! I'm so disappointed as this could've been a very promising place to go... I feel so disrespected and ignored it's unbelievable!!! No one should have this kind of...
Read moreI went to this location of Pita Gourmet as part of a group of three. This was our first time going to any Pita Gourmet location, so I can't say whether this location is better or worse than others. The counter service here was friendly and helpful. And there was plenty of seating, though the dining tables already look worn even though this is still a fairly new location. My falafel pita wrap was okay, but the flavor of the falafel wasn't as good as other falafel I'd had. That may be a personal preference though and isn't meant to suggest that there was something wrong with my food. My companions expressed to me that they felt that their orders were okay as well, but not anything they'd go back for. I basically felt the same way. I had baklava for dessert and thought it was decent quality. In terms of value, I felt that the prices here were reasonable for the portions served. If you're on the fence about trying this place out, I'd definitely recommend giving it a chance and experiencing it for yourself. The flavors here might be more up your...
Read moreFirst thing for me was the smell of the chicken when I walked in. It smelled so good. Then I noticed how clean everything was. The employees were well groomed and put together. Yes I look at these things. We were greeted with a smile and a hello as soon as we walked in. It was our first visit to PG. I got a whole Falafel salad with a side of chicken. Baba ghanouj with wheat pocket. My son got the mini grilled chicken with rice. I enjoyed mine very much. The falafel was flavorful and not super dry. The baba ghanouj was seasoned to perfection for me. The chicken extremely tender. Overall I'm very pleased with my first...
