Unfortunately I had a bad experience with one of the workers I didn't feel welcome because I was getting food through the too good to go app. There food there is top notch. IT looks like a chef made the pizza and the atmosphere was great, it's a huge beautiful place. However when I looked at what they gave me it was like they gave me whatever fell on the floor and basically felt like the guy behind the counter didn't even wanna give it to me like I disrespected him or something. It really is a slap in the face when you see all that great gourmet stuff but just cause there's a way to get discounted food I'm not worthy of that.
I don't want to take anything away from the owner or the staff because that was my first time there and I don't know anyone else, however on a positive note they do have very delicious looking food and a great looking place to go out to dinner to so I'll give them that. I will give them another chance hopefully this is constructive...
Read moreThis is the first time that I ever ordered a take out order from Café Gio. I spoke to Franco, Leo and the owner Sal. The feeling that they gave me when I spoke to them on the Telephone moments ago was that I was back in the day, when I could call a restaurant, talk to the folks that either owned it, or ran it and place an order with them, while they were answering a myriad of questions for me! I must say that I do a lot of takeout orders for work, friends, and family, The staff at Café Gio far surpassed my expectations and helped me place a large catering order seamlessly for today! I would highly recommend doing business with Café Gio. We need to support the restaurants that care enough to keep us happy, healthy and well fed. By the way, I failed to mention that my order was time sensitive it had to be delivered within a certain time today. The staff at Café Gio is making the delivery for me Personally at no...
Read moreBeen a customer since I moved nearby in Jan 2006. Pizza never disappoints. The prices are fair, not a lot of coupons, but it's a "you get what you pay for" situation. And I'm wholeheartedly for quality food with actual flavor. I could save $5 on a large pie, hero, and pasta dinner... but really the difference between paying $45 or $40 (where the $40 meal barely feeds my small family and is bland, overcooked, mushy, and careless) is happily spent when the food easily carries over to the next day's lunch. But, they do have deals on pasta dinners, Wednesday night specials, and holidays. I am asking Café Gio to bring back the pizza box coupons, though! I know times are tough, but saving those 13 cardboard pieces to get a free pie was a guarantee that I'd be buying Friday's dinner only from there. Not tempted to try the new coupon...
