*Cash recommended! My friend and I went to Park Avenue Grill because it came up highly rated for gluten-free friendly restaurants. This place was definitely popping! We arrived around 12:30pm on a Sunday, and we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. They will put you on the waitlist and will text you when your table is ready. The interior is cozy and reminded me of a bed and breakfast. If you pay in cash, you only need to pay the menu prices, which is why I recommended cash over card. We both ordered strawberry lemonade, which was refreshing, but the strawberry flavor took away from the tanginess of the lemonade. I ordered the Country Omelet ($18) and my friend ordered some type of gluten-free tacos that were on the specials menu. The food was terrific!! For me, I got my omelet with fruit instead of home fries. The toast had the perfect amount of butter, and the omelet was flavored well and all the meats were juicy. My friend also completely cleared her plate, and did not have a gluten-attack after we ate here. The only reason that I did not give Park Avenue Grill 5 stars is because of the way I got treated in the restaurant. The waitress would not look at me and would only address my friend. I felt a little weird, but I did not want to read into it. It was my friend who brought up that the waitress completely ignored me. When the bill was brought, they also handed it directly to my friend. It was like I did not exist. I can see if I did not speak English or was rude to the staff, but that was not the case. So at the end of the day, it just felt slightly racist. It seems this is not a common experience at this restaurant when I was reading the reviews, but I wanted to put it out there because it was our experience.

I love this place. The inside is cute but the outdoor deck is so lovely, and they have a canopy now that helps with the heat. I've eaten here 5 times, with GF/Vegan friends my age (mid 20s) and my boomer parents and every demographic of person I've come here with has enjoyed their food. I had the banana bread french toast special today which was so dense but somehow fluffy, bacon was perfectly crispy. My mom had potato pancakes with cheese and bacon inside which she loved. I grabbed a turkey avocado wrap to go for my dad. The fries his meal came with are great, thin and crispy but tender inside. Mom liked her Chardonnay, I had the brown sugar shaken espresso with oatmilk, which is a great dupe for starbs. I've had several of their cocktails in the past and they're all yummy. Service was great: friendly and prompt with no rushing. Every time I've visited, with every server, they make sure to ask about allergies. I really appreciate that! It's so great to have a spot that doesn't just offer the options but proactively makes sure you're aware of them. It's a little pricey for my income but the portions are decent. It's not a spot for every weekend, but now and then as a treat for special occasions, you can't go wrong.

Since I got in It took them a few minutes to realize I was there (it was not even rush hour) I said upfront I was ordering to go and someone had me and my father and brother sit on a table and gave us menus. The waitress took my order and as soon as she finished the owner or manager came up to my table to tell me I couldn't stay there because my order was to go and they take "take out" orders online only(as I said there was not even people waiting to be seated) however I understood I tried to ignore the fact that it was very rude and waited patiently in my car (I would've appreciate if they would have said it as soon as I said my order was takeout) After 30 min I came up to pick up my food and they were asking for the receipt (which I had thrown out probably) because "there was something going on with my order. After having me look for it they said it was fine and took my food to my car and I just took the bag and left because I was upset already (my dad had just got out of work in the area and my 6y/o brother was starving) , I live 45 min away and came home to realize they took my order completely wrong (obviously they charged it correctly) the manager is very arrogant and he wasn't letting me finish speaking he was quick to say they'll refund the fee for the order that was wrong and hung up on me real quick (I still have to wait fot that refund BTW) I think it shouldn't be that way, you work for your customers and you have to make them happy. Food was ok(whatever we were able to eat) however the service was TERRIBLE - it's not worth the headache

*Update : Google reminded me of my bad experience 😅 Never got a refund for the items I...

I came out to eat here on Sunday afternoon with some friends. The host was really nice and friendly and we were sat in a section outside after waiting about five minutes. We were then greeted by our server Brandon. The food was really good but the service did not match the quality of the food. We waited about 15 minutes for our drinks to come out. My friend had ordered a hot latte, and he tried to pressure her into keeping the iced latte that he brought by mistake. When he brought it back, he was not apologetic about his mistake. He placed it down aggressively and did not make eye contact. He then brought our appetizer and dropped the plates on the floor and still continued to pick them up and give them to us as they were all dirty. That was very unsanitary. We did not want to say anything about it because we were already uncomfortable with his attitude. We all work in the restaurant industry and we understand the pressure of weekend rushes. But his service was just not good. We then waited for the food, got it, then he disappeared. We were done with our food for about 15 minutes and had to ask the host for our server and the check. We still had to wait another 10 minutes. As we waited we saw our server eating through the kitchen window. After he finally dropped the check he never returned to pick up the check. A sweet lady noticed we were all set and cleared the table and closed the...
