Went here for the first time after renovations to see Traitors, went to the bar to get a drink and had nothing but problems. Got IDd walking in, got our blue bands, family went to get drinks, so did my fiancĂ©e and her friend. Got IDd again, and was questioned on authenticity due to holding my fiancĂ©es ID. Itâs a metal show, girls donât want to hold bags I have a wallet. Got our first drink, which had less than half a shot in it with a full cup of attitude. Ignored it, tipped her, went to get another drink and got IDd again by her friend who was also bartending and denied us service because she felt âuncomfortable serving usâ. Told them scan our IDs, which we were informed they didnât have a scanner. Crazy, because if you did it wouldnât be a problem. Asked for manager, wouldnât bring him to us had to go on a wild goose chase. Found Chris, who was nothing but professional, genuine, and quick to help us find a resolution. After getting that solved, ordered 3 drinks and still got barely half a shot with 6 pounds of ice in a cup. Chicks behind the bar shouldnât be bartending if they canât verify a proper ID, and their customer service is horrible. If you go there, donât waste your money at the bar. They should check people and their bags too, was moshing and had a 6 inch knife fall in the middle of the pit while people were getting thrown around. Couldâve been...
Read moreWent to an event last night and went to the bar to ask for a cup of water but was told no. They only sell water bottles for $3 because they don't HAVE to give out free water despite a common myth that establishments do. I normally would drink alcohol at these events but because I am an Uber/Lyft driver I was planning on working right after so I did not want a drop off alcohol in my body. Really was the least they could've done for me as I was bringing their drunk patrons home safely. But I guess ÂŻ(ă)/ÂŻ. I will never be back here. Showing my age but - VP South would've never pulled this. Yes you don't HAVE to provide cups of water to your patrons at an event when you're at venue but in the high 90° days at the end of summer, maybe you should - especially when your "venue" has no ventilation and is...
Read moreA very small but comfortable and effective venue, the AMH is laid out with a parallel bar and standing room. Good acoustics and plenty of room to see the stage make for great show potential. Part of the bar is alongside the stage, which allows a unique side view of the band...very cool. There is also a back door that leads to a locked patio if you need to step out and get some air. The staff was super friendly, and the bartender had a great deal of craft beer knowledge, which was a huge plus for me. There was a great selection of local brews, but also a handful of lighter and more commercial options. Very IPA heavy...I would have loved to see at least one darker option. Overall, I was very impressed, and I'll definitely be back in the future, if the opportunity...
