This is the cutest little ice cream shop! My cousin and I found it when we were recently walking through the village. It's located centrally in Amityville Village and has a old time feel to it. The server was very sweet to us and even gave me a sample of the ice cream when I couldn't decide which I wanted. I was torn between the Baileys ice cream and the cinnamon ice cream and she recommended the cinnamon flavor. I was so glad she did because it was delicious and even my mom who doesn't care for sweets agreed. The shop also has plenty of toppings so I decided to top my scoop off with pretzels. I highly recommend that combo to everyone! My cousin was also very happy with her birthday cake flavor! But definitely stop in and try this local shop out. You will not regret it.

Quant little ice cream shop in the village of Amityville, that has all the cute mom and pop ice cream feels. They feature some classic ice cream options with a few specialty options. I got the peppermint bark ice cream with oreos and my wife got the mint chip and chocolate. All the flavors were delicious. The peppermint wasn't to aggressive and it was nice and creamy. They also have a nice milk shake selection as well as some pre-made chipwiches. We met the owner who was super friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice spot to try if your feeling some ice cream. Enjoy!

What a fantastic shop! Looking at The Scoop as you walk up on the old time brick sidewalk is like looking at a Norman Rockwell painting—charming, cozy and nostalgic. A step inside reveals a salt and pepper floor with a Willy Wonka type atmosphere full of pink pinstripes, happy pictures and sweet ice cream with all the candy accompaniments! The owner has poured herself, her passion and vision into this quaint little gem. You can’t help but feel like a little kid when you try to decide what to get. Waffles, Cones, cups, Cookies, Dirty Sodas, Cotton Candy and the list goes on. They are now offering hot Coffee and also a delicious Cold Brew coffee. There is something for all age groups! I highly recommend stopping by and loosing yourself in the charm— grab a seat out front or relax in the back courtyard. The ice cream is delicious, prices are fair with daily specials, staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. A great addition...
