Honestly I’m not one to write negative reviews however I felt attacked personally since the moment I walked through the door and took a seat in one of the single chairs next to the front door. This morning around 11:00 a.m. I asked my friend to drop me at this Starbucks so I could figure out what to eat and what coffee to get while she ran an errand and was coming back within 10 minutes. The young man working behind the counter was staring at me and I just thought he was just being observant. I looked down at my phone and realized it was dead and said okay I’ll just wait for my friend to get here and we’ll decide what breakfast item to get and pick our favorite coffees then, so I didn’t order anything just yet. Not even 5 minutes later, the guy staring at me came out from behind the counter to say “I can’t have you just sitting here.” So I said “excuse me?” Now before I continue, I want to mention I worked for Starbucks over a decade ago and have also been so polite to customers, in which I had regulars come in and call and ask if I was working and what time! Service goes a long way if you show kindness and respect to everyone who walks through the doors. Now, back to this conversation that was cut so abrupt I nearly was at a loss for words and walked out with my tail between my legs. He repeated himself and said “if you aren’t ordering anything I can’t have you sit in my store.” Now, what era are we in today? And I thought judging a book by its cover was something taboo. I had on pajamas pretty much and messy hair because I was wearing a beanie. He looked me up and down and said “I need you to leave now. I can’t have you sitting here.” Now either way, if that was a Starbucks policy, I can’t argue it but I will not ever support that policy. This employee NEVER ASKED IF I WAS GOING TO ORDER. He assumed I wasn’t and was taking up precious space and deterring customers I guess. My friend came looking for me banging on the bathroom door frantic because she couldn’t find me and my phone was dead. She thought something really bad happened to me. I asked him if anyone had a charger I could borrow for 5 minutes to turn my phone on, I told him it was pertinent I turn it on to get in contact with my friend. He said “nobody has a charger here and I need to leave now.” Right before I went out the door he said “not having that today” and giggled like a child would have. This is just a review for now. I haven’t even begun to turn this into anything yet. I’m very humble and polite and outgoing. I would never treat anyone with this disrespect. I will find his name out and leave another review. Unbeknownst to this employee, it’s nice to have someone in my family on the corporate level of Starbucks because this issue will not be resolved other than Starbucks apologizing on his behalf and that’s not...
Read moreThe service is horrible ! The Starbucks is literally 1 mile away from my house. I’ve frequented the Starbucks 2-3 x weekly for the past six months hoping that I come in contact with someone that doesn’t have an attitude whether you go through the drive-through or you go in the store . Most employees I have come in contact with at this store have an extremely bad attitude not willing to show any signs of kindness they all give off misery and total unhappiness it’s an extremely Peculiar feeling to walk into this establishment absorbing all that negative energy in the environment . I’ve never experienced this at Starbucks before ever . Waiting in the store they won’t even tell you when your drink is ready. I’ve been having SUCH bad experiences and especially because this is my local Starbucks it’s very disappointing . I usually Stop by late afternoon early evening, the staff on hand is disgusting. I’ve stopped by once or twice earlier in the day before 12 pm my drink is actually made properly and you may possible get a smile lol . I’ve been contemplating writing a review but, after my visit today I feel management should really take a look at staffing because it is ridiculous.
P.S. After working in Manhattan for over 20 years frequenting many different Starbucks. I’ve always had great things to say about this company until now I’m thoroughly disappointed in how uninviting and rude the staff is at this particular establishment ! Not a good look for...
Read moreI can see that there is a problem with this particular Starbucks from reading all the reviews. THE OWNER needs to review and look at the staff they are hiring ESPECIALLY ON THE EVENINGS. UNFRIENDLY, UNACCOMODATING, RUDE AND NO SERVICE CUSTOMER INCLINATION AT ALL. 3X I ordered via app and when I drive thru I am always asked rudely “did you just ordered?” Mind you I ordered on my way to the store and not while I’m on the line. Customers should never be asked that. I go to other Starbucks and they never ask that. If it’s not ready they just let you wait. On top of that, your people have the nerve to AGAIN reprimand me to not order on the app too close to the store. SERIOUSLY UNNECESSARY. I told them this store is the only store that says this. And your staff proudly says BECAUSE WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STARBUCKS. YES YOU ARE VERY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STARBUCKS. YOU ARE PROUD TO BE RUDE, UNACCOMMODATING, AND UNFRIENDLY.
