Andriano's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Bethlehem

I would be better if I gave no stars at all. I take my partner out to enjoy some pizza. Our plan is to just sit and eat few slices on this nice day, order 4 slices, 1 for her daughter, and we told them only to pack 1 because we're eating there. I didn't say anything when they put it in the box instead of plates. I just chose to setup our table myself. Before I could even set the table, I found a long piece of hair on the pizza. I told them, and instead of giving us 4 new slices they only gave us 2 slices and expected us to eat the other 2 that had hair on them. I demanded my money back and told them keep the pizza. They literally almost didn't even want to give me the money back and didn't even care about the poor customer service they provided. It's new owners and they have no idea what professionalism or customer courtesy is. We actually took a long walk there because it was nice out and walked all the way home just to cook. I love their pizza and think its probably one of the best in the area but haven't had the greatest service experience. My bad service experience involved ordering delivery and we were told it would be an hour. We accepted this and 1-1/2 hours later, no pizza. I called the restaurant only to find out they still hadn't even make our pizza and that it would be at least another hour! I told them not to bother, I wasn't going to wait any longer - we were hungry! No apology, no offer to make up for their mistake. I can understand if a place is busy, but they never bothered to call us to inform us they were as busy as they were and they turned me off for a long time because of it. I've only ordered once since then and waited about an hour for delivery. Pizza is still great. I just wish their service and attitude towards their customers...

I have hesitated in leaving a review but I feel it's necessary. Having lived in Delmar over a decade, I have always ordered from Andriano's. Gradually their prices have gone up and up and the quality/quantity of the food has gone down, down. I paid $10+tax for an order I spent $7+tax in the past and the serving size was smaller on top of that. I realize the pandemic has resulted in a hardship on businesses, but also on consumers. I will no longer order from Andriano's or suggest ordering from them to other people. This makes me very sad.
