I took a decent sized bag of clothes in to try and sell to this store, after having been decently successfully selling clothes to Plato's Closet in the past. First of all, I brought this bag in no more than 20 minutes after the store opened. The employee told me they would get to sorting through it the NEXT day and that's when I could come retrieve my items. I've sold to Plato's Closet before, which is much busier than this place was the two times that I entered their store (to drop off and pick up my clothes), and the longest time I've ever had to wait for Plato's Closet to sort through my clothes was 3 hours. When I did go to pick up my clothes, I was pretty shocked when they had passed on everything I brought in. This would be fine if the rest of the store didn't literally look like a Goodwill or Salvation Army. The selection of clothes they must have accepted in the past to sell in their store was incredibly out of style which is odd as they market towards juniors/young adults. Also, when I did go to pick up my clothes, I stood at the counter for a good chunk of time before either of the employees behind the counter even acknowledged I was there, even though I was the only person on that side...
   Read moreI have been a customer with NTY since they opened; never had any issues. Today, during a recent visit, I had an encounter with a rude employee. I was on my phone, having a conversation with a family member, I mentioned that the girls(employees) werent observing the social distancing recommendation and that I would move to another aisle to keep my distance; so that they could finish their workđ¤đ¤đ¤. An employee overheard my conversation; before I had the chance to finish my sentence , the rude employee interrupted my phone conversation by projecting her voice over mine to " set the record straight". I dont have any tolerance for rude individuals, so I made reference that I will follow up with Julia, the owner. The employee, eagerly called Julia to let her know that there was an incident that took place( dramatic) in the store, all while failing to mention her indiscipline and delinquencies. Talking to Julia was worse than having the encounter with her employee, Julia refused to acknowledge the employee's indecent behavior and downplayed my concerns.    Read moreI stopped in to this afternoon, 3/28, to pick up a basket of clothes that were not purchased by the store. When I received my items back, I immediately noticed dirt all over most of the clothing. I mentioned it to the girl behind the desk and was told, âSorry, sometimes we stack the baskets and the dirt from the floor gets on the clothing. Do you not want to sell to us anymore?â.
